Joan Rivers Lt. Ed. Cross Pin/Pendant 34" Simulated Pearl Necklace is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Pretty, Pearl strand could be improved I liked wearing these separately and love that it is versatile to wear together or separate. The pin is very pretty and I got compliments when I wore it. The necklace is nice and has an expansion chain but it's not the best quality faux pearl strand. If you watch the video presentation closely you can see where a few pearls bind a bit and don't lay so nicely. I didn't pay close attention but found that when I wore it and then noticed on the presentation. I played with stretching it (by hand) a bit just to loosen up the string which helped.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful ! Just received this necklace today, and it is soooo beautiful! The crystals really dazzle - I would have given it 5 stars, but the larger stones - though they do reflect light quite nicely, don’t have quite as much light refraction as the smaller crystals. This is very nice upscale fashion jewelry; so I don’t have the expectations that I would have for my fine jewelry. It comes in it’s own velvety drawstring pouch. All in all, I would buy this again in a heartbeat! Can’t wait to wear this out for a nice occasion !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where's the sparkle? I was looking forward to wearing this versatile necklace/pin in many ways, but when it arrived, all that went out the window. The stones look like plain old glass. No sparkle or shine. And some of them are set crookedly. They are set in a metal that is black and looks dirty. Even the chain and clasp look old and tarnished. Wouldn't pay $10 for this, much less $99. Already sent it back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Such a disappointment I own dozens of pieces of Joan Rivers jewelry and there are pieces I've had for over 20 years, which look just a beautiful today. I can't believe this piece is from the Joan Rivers line, much less from the "Private Collection." I purchased this in May, but just took it out of the box today to wear for the first time. i had planned to mix the pearls from this item in with some of my older Joan pearls. Couldn't do it - the older pearls are creamy and lustrous, and these are tiny, white and cheap looking. Then I thought I'd put the new, cheap string of pearls aside and attach the pendant to my old pearls. Nope. First, the pendant was obviously light and flimsy. Then the clasp opened before I even left the house and came crashing to the ground. Sadly, I think items like this are tarnishing the reputation of the Joan Rivers Jewelry line. I have purchased fewer and fewer items of her jewelry over the years, and it seems like I'll purchase even fewer going forward.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bail will not stay closed Some parts of this piece are very pretty and the others are cheap, poor craftsmanship. The bail will not stay closed and the closure/chain extension on the pearl necklace is flimsy. The pin/pendant is beautiful and the strand of pearls are knotted and look nice. It looks good worn long or doubled up, but cannot trust the bail. Maybe a little tape on the bail? LOL. Joan used tape to cover the sharp end of the pin which stuck out too far and would stick her. I'll use tape too. It's too pretty to return, but in the future Melisa and David should insure better workmanship.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bale Opens Piece Falls To Floor I usually love Joan stuff but I agree with another review is that they should have seen this ....the bale is weak and cannot hold closed especially in that the cross is heavy...it is beautiful but is UNWEARABLE.....hope you fix this because it is lovely....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Absolutely Lovely cross and pearls. I would like it a bit shorter which cannot be done easily.
