An oil-free and water-resistant lotion, Sun Guard Sunscreen SPF 45 from Jack Black offers broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection and absorbs quickly. Formulated for extreme conditions, it forms a barrier of protection. Sun Guard can be used any time you are exposed to the sun, even during routine daily activities, as well as for outdoor workouts, beach outings, and sporting events.

How do I use it: Apply to face and body prior to going out in the sun for effective broad-spectrum sun protection. Apply at least 30 minutes before sun exposure to allow the sunscreen to absorb into the skin. It's important to apply the correct amount of sunscreen to get the proper protection--an average size person should use one ounce of sunscreen to cover the body with one application. This is the amount that would fit in a shot glass. Reapply after heavy perspiration or towel drying, or after 60 to 80 minutes of sun exposure.

From Jack Black.

Jack Black Sun Guard Sunscreen SPF 45 Water Resistant, 4 oz is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Protection Sunscreen is a must for me. I am very fair with pink undertones, so I get red within like 3 minutes of being in the sun. I use Josie Maran on my face, but it wouldn't be practical to use her product on my body (I would be going through 5 bottles per month). I did research on this brand before I purchased it. I decided to give it a try and am very happy with the protection I receive and the way that it performs. I do apply it 15 minutes before sun exposure and I apply it liberally. I make sure to apply every 2 hours. It doesn't have a strong sunscreen smell to it, which I appreciate. I haven't tested its water resistant claims, but I would make sure to apply one I got out of water just because I don't think any sunscreen is waterproof.
