i already have a 16 inch chain by jai that i love.....ordered one for my mom.good thing i inspected it before giving it to her for mothers day....it was obvious that this chain was returned and used....it was tarnished and by the lobster clasp seems weird...with that said i returned the chain.so much for quality control....but i would recommend this chain if it was new

Perfect Chain
This is the perfect chain. I am able to wear it full time and it does not tangle in my hair. The loop is smaller than the 18 inch, so I am able to put my pendants in this 16 inch chain. It is nice and strong, so I can wear it without worry. Perfect!!!

This necklace is exactly what I wanted. I purchased the 16" and I also have a Sterling silver necklace extender if I want it longer.

I need a 17 inch!!
I thought I needed a 16in, but it turns out it is too short, and I need a 17 inch. Also, it is a little too fine....so I will wait and try again later....It is not what I thought it would be at all....

Disappointed
I was looking forward to this box chain to go with my 2.7mm JAI box bracelet.
Was disappointed that the 16” box chain was larger gauge than the 2.7 mm box
Bracelet. It was NOT 2.7mm , was at least 3.0 mm or even larger. Too heavy and
lobster clasp was bulky looking. Had to return it. I would have kept had it matched the
Size of my bracelet.

Love 16”
Thank you JAI for offering a chain in 16 inch. I wish more of your jewelry had a 16” option. Please think about it. For smaller women 18 inches are just too long. I love your box chain and have it in almost every size. I was so excited to see a 2.7 mm in 16” for all my pendants etc. But I think I got a defective one. My clasp does not open wide enough to get it over the rope the textured loop. I wish the hook and loop where smooth and easy like all your other chains and bracelets. Also the clasps seems very thin and not as secure as I hoped. We ladies tend to wear your box chains and not take them off; but this one doesn’t seem thick enough for heavy wear. I will exchange for a non-defective one. But please think about making a 16” a bit more secure. Other than that love all my Jai pieces,

So worth the wait!
I've been waiting for the 16" box chain in smaller gauge since the beginning. Thank you so much for bringing it! This is perfect for all my JAI enhancers. It's a beautiful chain. Excellent quality and craftsmenship like all my JAI pieces. My favorite jewelry line!

Love the 16" necklace!!! Always love 16" especially for the summer when you wear tops where neckline is exposed!!! Just adds a touch of PIZAZZ at the neckline!
