Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every Day Necklace I'm surprised by the bad reviews of this necklace. I happen to love it. I have a huge collection of JAI by John Hardy: rings, earrings, necklaces, and more bracelets than I can wear at one time but this piece is great to throw on with anything and it goes everywhere. I can't wear my big crocodile necklace like this and it is one of the reasons I wear it so often. The coins are not heavy but I wouldn't want them to be. I would never wear it on the English side but I hadn't planned on it when I bought it but I love the character and these three are very important to me. Too expensive, no the cord is beautiful and so are the coins. JAI pieces aren't cheap but I most likely wouldn't like them if they were. I'm also glad that the coins can't be removed they would be too easy to misplace. Can't wait to see what is coming in Spring.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dinky First, JAI is one of, if not my favorite jewelry designer. I have many pieces and love all of them except this one. It looks weighty, but it isn't. The end caps are so nice, but the coins look "tinny." I bought some jewelry in Santa Fe made out of aluminum with a southwestern motif and this reminded me very much of those pieces. Very pretty, but no substance. Then when I discovered that one could not use the coins on other chains because one cannot remove them, I decided to definitely send this piece back. I thought it was too expensive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Whats Up With Jai Quality And Packaging? I received this Jai Necklace this morning, and to my dismay it was in a QVC Box! I then looked at the piece to find the coins flimsy like "Costume Pieces From Mall Kiosk", Clasp Is Cheap, and Bending Already! It is headed back, as it was suppose to be a gift for holidays! I own so many wonderful pieces of JAI, and John Hardy, as well as the other line Angela by John Hardy once presented on QVC that this is SAD! Please put the quality back in the merchandise, and place it back in the Jai Packaging for proper presentation! The only reason this gets any stars is that the "Design Concept', was good!
