Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best basic cookbook! I ordered this for my daughter who has had an instapot for a year and hasn’t used it b/c she is afraid of it. This book is just the perfect book for beginners as well as seasoned cooks. I love that the recipes are simple everyday recipes that anyone can make without needing a ton of ingredients that the average home cook may not have on hand. I have a treasure trove of recipe books that I have purchased over the past 50+ years but I am actually going to order a book for myself as the recipes are the kind I would use on a regular basis and get rid of the ones I really don’t have much use for. This book is definitely a keeper!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best accessory for a new Instant Pot user This book should accompany the 6-quart Duo Plus 9-IN-1 pressure cooker since it not only has good recipes, it explains all the different functions, including cooking sous vide which is a new function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have tried a couple of recipes so far -- EXCELLENT I am using a 6 qt Cooks Essential pressure cooker, and it works beautifully with this book and these recipes. I really enjoyed the first part of the book just "listening" to Lisa get us acquainted with pressure cooking, the accessories, etc. I've tried a couple of the recipes, most recently the Chicken & Rice Soup....after prep and coming to pressure, only cooks for 4 minutes!! It was YUMMMMMMMM, so rich and satisfying. I did add the cream to the broth at the end of cooking, but you could leave that out, and it would still be good. I'm so looking forward to trying more recipes. I have MANY electric pressure cooker recipe books, this WILL be one of my favorites! Thank you, Lisa!!! ♥

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let’s me use my Instant Pot for all meals! I loved receiving my new Instant Pot last year but it sat in the box a lot because I didn’t really know it’s full capabilities. Now that Lisa Brady came out with the cook book, I can use my Instant Pot everyday and be confident that my recipes will come out perfect every time. I’m so excited to actually have a cookbook designed specifically for my Instant Pot. I’ve used several of the recipes and they are great. The lasagna might be my favorite. Who knew you could make lasagna this way, and so easy! Thanks for allowing me to use my Instant Pot all the time now. I’m a working mother and didn’t have time for home cooked meals that took a lot of prep time. My family is eating healthier because of you. Thanks!

Everything I've tried has been a big hit with my picky eaters! Great add on purchase if buying an instant pot! I even took the book to Office Depot and had it spiral bound to keep it open easier while making recipes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Give it the Taste Test I got Lisa Brady's new cookbook as a gift. I am new to this method of cooking, but am motivated to explore the delicious possibilities. I was super impressed when the book's organization.The recipes were presented in an easy-to-read format along with Lisa's personal comments in the - Just the Basics - section. All of the photographs are absolutely gorgeous. The food pictures almost "invite" you to try the recipes. There is something for everyone, including gluten-free and vegetarian options. I plan on giving the Pulled Chicken Tacos with lettuce leaves a try and saving Mom's Sunday Pot Roast with Gravy for a nice crisp fall day, followed by - what else - some Classic Cheesecake. Yum!
