Returning second one
This DVD player only plays some dvds. When it does play it freezes frequently and then jumps ahead. Checked with support people and they said it's defective return to QVC.

Wrong DVD player 1016 vs. DVD 1017
I ordered a DVD red 1016 player at the beginning of July (red with silver bars & round silver and silver buttons. I received a (dull red plastic DVD 1017R player, cheap looking with black bars). I called QVC and they reordered the 1016 a 2nd time. I talked to supervisors and QVC workers who tried to help. They had to do a 3rd order by hand to the manufacturer. I talked today and found out that the manufacturer after a month told QVC they now send 1017 out now not 1016 which is supposed to be the same. They are not the same (1016 is red with silver) and the (1017 is dull red with black buttons). The manufacturer is misleading by the advertisement with QVC's website because the (1017R dull red plastic with black bars), it does not look like the [1016 red with silver round & silver buttons and bars]. Also the shipping box they were sent in were old beat up boxes, the first was damaged and I threw it away and purchased another shipping box to return the first dvd player. The 2nd one was second hand because the dvd was on when I took it out of the box and the bubble wrap. Usually they need to be charged to turn on and this was dangerous mailing one that was turned on. Both were returned. Very unsatisfied for receiving both wrong dvd players and the time I spent being on the phone trying to get this resolved.

Love this player!
Hi ;) I had the smaller blue Sylvania player which was nice but not the best. This player is a bit bigger and my favorite feature is that it remembers it's place on the disc, even if you watch another movie then go back to one you watched before. I do find that some discs aren't as loud as others and I wish the volume allowance was higher (it is 20) so I'm thinking of getting an external speaker, but over a great little player!!

Not What I Expected
I purchased this DVD player based on the information and picture provided. The DVD player that I received was Completely different from the picture provided and poorly made of a very thin plastic. It is equivalent to the quality of a cheaply made toy. I personally did not use the player knowing that after a few uses (three or less, that is how thin the plastic material is) something would break. It does swivel, but you have to slowly do so and carefully hold the rest of the player because again it can easily break. IMO Amazon has a few that are cheaper and more sturdier. But I opted for this one because of the flex pay, but what good is flex pay if you can't use the item purchased...
I have never had a problem with QVC products until now. So I will just send this one back. I ordered the red one btw, so I can only review what was provided before me.

Did not receive unit pictured
Poor quality, not very loud, earphones were not included. Ad says 10.0" screen what I got was a 9" and doesn't even look like the picture.

Very nice!
Got this DVD player for my little grandson to use on road trips or just whenever he feels like popping in a movie. He's 6 yrs old. Got the blue, his favorite color. Didn't include headphones, but was pleasantly surprised it did include a headrest holder for the car. Now he can hang it on back of the front seat and enjoy his movies!

Worst Purchase Ever
I thought I was buying exactly what I was looking at in the picture. But when it got here there's no light on the buttons so you have to use a flashlight with it. Actually the buttons aren't in the same place as in the picture. Other than the problems, it plays great.
