Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor workmanship I ordered both the white and red churches. The white church is very pretty when lit but the bell inside the steeple is not attached. I will have to do some finageling to get it hung somehow. The base is also uneven, so I will set it in "fake" snow or inside a wreath. The red church was not as impressive as it appeared online. The stairs leading up to the doorway were way off center and the church would not light, even after trying three new sets of batteries. Back the red church goes! Please, Valerie, please look into the quality of your pieces! I have bought and sent back more of your items in the past year than ever before due to shoddy workmanship.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute church I ordered the white church from Valerie. It is cute when lit up! One of the trees needed to be glued back on the base. It was no big deal. The base is not quite level when set on a surface and I can't get the little door on the battery compartment to stay on. There is a lot of detail on this church which makes it very pretty.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Valeries Quality I love most everything from Valerie and purchased the white church anticipating its arrival. When I finished unpacking I realized the bell was not attached and tried to do so. Very difficult and then the little clip inside the steeple broke. I will keep my little church but suggest Valerie and Quality go back and modify future models. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This church glistens I ordered the church in white and gold. I love everything about it. It looks beautiful in the daylight and glistens at night when the light comes on. I will leave this out all year as I collect churches.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money.... The red church arrived with a crooked ball on top of the steeple as others have noted, and the fence was leaning sideways on one side AND worst of all, the stairway leading up to the church doors were completely off center from the door! Horrible "Made in China" workmanship.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from POOR WORKMANSHIP! I bought a church and 2 cottages. All of them are going back. So disappointed. I really like the red color, but the church and 1 cottage the timer did not work. The bell was stuck up inside the tower and I couldn't get it down. The fence was bent and there is a dent on the roof. The other cottage was not even finished on the front and the fence is bent. I think they might eat batteries because as I have been testing these, the light has dimmed inside after 4 days.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from POOR Quality I purchased both the church in white and cottage in red. Both had issues and the quality and workmanship was poor. The ball on top was on straight but the steeple was crooked. Also, the bell is stuck up underneath and won’t come down, one window was glued on crooked, brownish areas on the fence, and the stairs were not glued to line up with the door but more off to the side. The concept is great and it is pretty at night but I’m not about to pay $40 with tax and shipping to look at a leaning steeple and bad quality. This keeps happening. Unless consumers (and QVC) demand that manufacturers in China hire only people who do quality work and pay them for it, then we will continue to see quality decline. And if we buy it and accept it, then it will only get worse. I guess I am tired of being excited about an item that appears to be great and a great idea only to be disappointed and have to return it because of poor quality and workmanship.
