Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Blue Is Stunning Val never disappoints me with my love for blue I love that she included this color in her collection. It’s a steel blue. Beautiful

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love pumpkins The pumpkin and gourd are very cute and well made. I am only giving the review 4 stars as the orange is an orange brown and not a true orange.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the GREEN but I received the green pumpkins yesterday. I really LOVE them!!! The color is a true sage green. No problems with the paint. My only complaint is that the light is a very bright white light. Light is very distracting. Would have been better in a warm yellow or some other softer color light. Other than that, they are beautiful. I plan to put them in a room that I am not constantly sitting in because of the bright lighting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful I was sad to see so many disappointed customers with these pumpkins. I however bought them in the green and Love them. I added batteries and turned them on and they looked great. I did not have the distorted coloring as so many had with the ivory. I’m seriously considering buying them in the blue as that is all that is left. These green pumpkins will match my decor beautifully.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What Has Happened To VPH Quality Ordered several sets in orange. When the boxes arrived I heard the loud rattle before I ever opened the first one. Sure enough the gourd has a VERY LARGE piece of material flopping around in it. Impossible to get it out due to the size. Afraid it will break the light. The color of the paint is not anywhere near as vibrant and flawless as seen on the ones used for the TV demonstration and the entire item looks cheap and certainly not worth the money we paid for it. The quality of VPH items seems to go down - too many returns due to poor/defective manufacturing. Have to see how the others are (gifts) before I make my final decision but I am almost certain all will go back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality My ivory pumpkin/gourd set arrived with broken stems. Very disappointed. The coloring does not look like the ones presented on tv. Perhaps it is their lighting? I find them to be a "dirty" ivory. I feel as though a lot of Valerie's products have gone downhill in quality. It seems to be hit or miss. Sometimes I feel as though I can do better in our local Michaels, AC Moore or Hobby Lobby.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice Concept, BUT Execution Is Off. Hi Valerie and fellow QVC'ers. I have an artist background and have sat through many critiques and I know they can be CRINGE worthy sometimes, BUT if done properly it is to be taken more as being helpful for growth verses being criticism to hurt. Having said that, I agree with the other reviews that the pumpkin and gourd set are more of a muddy water color than a clean ivory color the way they appeared on our television screens with all those bright studio lights washing them out a bit. I think as far as color goes, what we are wanting instead of this darker antiquing technique is a cleaner ivory or cream with a soft sandy coloring in between to add definition. I also agree that the inside where the lighting illuminates, is not finished in a way that we would want to light it up and see that inside and it needs to be a more evenly finished look and maybe even add a soft champagne color to help it illuminate the inside and really make it glow and be GORGEOUS! In addition, the inside finish on them affected the play of light on the outside of them creating dark swirls and light swirls and it just was not the look people were wanting. I think we are hoping for more of an even overall glow on the outside OR maybe only light coming from the scrollwork…I’m not sure which would look best but those are my thoughts. Also, I think the lights were too intense and needed to be softened by perhaps a flameless candle or just a softer warmer light source. And finally, I too had issues with quality in the workmanship that needs to be addressed. I really do think the concept is great, but it needs some tweaking in the execution. I LOVE to watch your shows Valerie—YOU-- have such a beautiful talent for making homes look warm and inviting-- so keep up the good work and Shine on Girl! Love ya!
