Bring on the heat. The F7452-900 SteamVac is an all-terrain machine that cleans carpet, upholstery, and hard floors with its powerful 12-amp motor--while directly applying heat.

Dual V Nozzle technology provides equal suction across the full width of the nozzle, removing dirty water for excellent cleaning and fast drying. Its unparalleled Auto Rinse feature rinses the carpet on the reverse stroke, leaving less detergent residue. For hard floors there's a squeegee that picks up dirty water, SpinScrub brushes that safely cleanse floors, and soft wheels that won't scratch delicate surfaces. From Hoover.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst cleaner ever Didn’t even last 8 months. Did not use very often. The handle holding the cleaner broke twice. Detergent mixes with the water even on rinse and does NOT dispense detergent well on clean and auto rinse. The attachment for spot/tile/ect stopped spraying. Asked about the warranty and got no help.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Carpet is great, squeegee is the worst I got this about 3 weeks ago, immediately used to do a carpet, and it was awesome, like my old hoover. Tried it on floors today but cannot get the squeegee to stay on no matter what. It does a pretty good job picking up the water anyway, but I am worried it will scratch wood. Also parts are pretty cheap, it leaks a lot from the top, I dont expect it to last long, but for carpets its great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cleans well but...... I really like this machine and use it frequently (I have fur babies) BUT ....everytime I fill it with solution and water it spills ALOT on my floor while I try to re-attach the upper water tank. SO FRUSTRATING! You make it look so simple on youtube but obviously not! I have wasted so much solution and made such huge messes, which of course takes extra time to clean up the floor from the splills. So, although the machine does a great job I dread having to use it!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hoover sucks Poor quality, poor customer service, hoover does not honor thier warranty. I had 3-4 uses before it broke, and hoover wouldnt give me any kind of solutions, nor any of my money back, not even an exvhange or repair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Squeegee issues This is my second Max Extract All-Terrain Carpet Cleaner. I bought my first one six years ago and really liked it except that the squeegee attachment would not stay on. I finally gave up on that attachment. When the Hoover died a few weeks ago, I shopped around but I didn't find anything that I liked as much as the Hoover product so I bought another one. It really does a nice job on carpets and the suction is great! My carpets were dry in no time at all! But, once again the squeegee attachment will not stay on. After reading other reviews this seems to be an ongoing problem, one that Hoover should have addressed long ago. I really like the Max Extract All-Terrain Carpet Cleaner but I am pretty disappointed that once again, I'm dealing with a defective squeegee attachment. When my new Max Extract All-Terrain Carpet Cleaner dies, (in about six years,) I will definitely be taking a closer look at other brands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cleaner My only problem with this unit is the "squeegee" attachment...it absolutely will not stay on when I'm doing my hard floors. For cleaning, it can't be beat. It does my carpets so they look like new and my tile floors are cleaner than ever. Without the squeegee attachment on the hard floor, the water will not pick up and it is annoying. This is my second machine. The first one just died and I replaced it with this one based on the excellent work of the first one. The first one was amazing and I miss it. Thought this one would be as good, but the squeegee has ruined it for me.
