Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Unhappy I don't know how anyone can get this "hidden Magnetic lock apart. I tried with my fingernails and a minature screwdriver for jewelry and managed to stab myself three times in my fingers which drew blood. Why would anyone manufacture a beautiful pearl necklace and fail to attend to the clasp?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sad Let me start with saying I have the matching bracelet, which is wonderful. And as I like sets, I was excited to see this necklace on a lunchtime special. I could say the pearls were a bit more irregular than I like but I think the key problem was the bronze beads. They were just too large! The overall look of the necklace was just not good, out of balance. This was not a problem with the bracelet. Also the necklace really isn't constructed that well for the price. But ultimately I returned it because it just looked . . . wrong. I have other ming pieces that I am glad to have.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not As Expected Have to agree with other comments. I was expecting the very lovely necklace that was shown during the presentation. That was lovely colored round pearls. I received poorly shaped beads with flat ends. Also, if the strand breaks, there go all these expensive pearls all over the place! Why aren't these necklaces ever shown during the presentation? Don't need to give that much thought.....returned and disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Winner!!! Really beautiful. Love the beautiful pearls -- they are amazing -- along with the Bronzo. Very striking! Not sure of why the negative reviews, but in my mind, it's a winner of a necklace! Please bring some big Button Earrings (clip, please) in the same combination.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pearls Lovely, Bronze -- Not so much The ming pearls are lovely, and I would enjoy having a necklace made of these pearls. The bronze beads are not a good match with the pearls, and the quality is poor. The small spacer beads have fallen inside of the larger bronze beads, leaving the wire to show between the pearls. Unfortunately, the quality of this piece is just not what I imagined it would be so I am returning it (and the companion 18" necklace which I had also purchased). -- I am also not a fan of the magnetic bead clasp. -- This is such a disappointing piece that I am also cancelling the pre-order I have placed for a ming bracelet made in the bronze materials as well. -- Bring back sterling beads and quality construction!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Epic Failure I think of this as the necklace that could have been. When I initially opened the box, I thought that someone had carefully wrapped each pearl individually with some protective wrap for shipping, much the way Dooney wraps every conceivable part of their bags. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Not one of my pearls is anywhere near the shape called round. They are shaped like snails with tails that interfere with the bead next to it. Ugly doesn't begin to describe this necklace. After reading the reviews, it appears that some people got lucky with the necklace they received. I also think of this as the necklace that might be as I returned my necklace for a replacement hoping to get something somewhat similar to the necklace presented on air each time. A necklace that does not resemble the one that arrived from the first order. If I can get lucky with the second necklace, I can take it to a local jeweler who can restring the necklace for me so that I don't have to fear it falling apart. For the price that this necklace costs, I shouldn't have to go to all this work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TOO VULNERABLE FOR BREAKAGE Could not wait to get this necklace. It is very pretty, but for the price I just could not stand it if it broke. Too big of an investment to be worrying about that. Nothing to grasp on to in order to open it and I believe it's a real possibility that the wire will become weak. If there were a safer way to clasp it I would have kept it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality workmanship; overpriced Very disappointed when I received this necklace. The smaller bronze beads got swallowed by the big bronze beads due to the larger holes on these beads. These were not consistently placed in between the pearls. The large pearls are nice, but overall, the work done on this necklace is poor. For the quality, it's not worth the price Honora charged for this necklace. Whatever happened to QVC's quality control! This piece just does not measure up to what you would expect to get for this price!
