Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delightful smell I don’t understand the negative reviews. I ordered this candle last year. I love the fragrance! I have burned it often, but sometimes I just remove the lid, without burning it, and the delightful fragrance fills my kitchen, living room, and front entrance way. I have dogs in the house, so now you can’t smell them!. I love this candle and will order it again. Was just looking for it and see it on Qvc again. Don’t be afraid to order it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TVC scent is my all-time favorite The 'toasted vanilla cupcake' 4-wick scented candle is THE winner in my book. I just had another set shipped to my sister & niece after asking if they also gravitated towards vanilla>caramel scents. Very strong throw... I'll burn in the basement family room and can smell it (so yummy!) throughout the lower level AND up the stairs where the ceiling fan helps to distribute it on the main floor. I don't pick up on any maple notes whatsoever and it strikes me as being smooth & mellow, not sweet. To each his own!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best scent Love this scent. Usually I can't smell the scent beyond the room I am in (if that), but this scent I can smell when I walk in the house. Love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AUTHENTIC I love the smell of this candle it is a good strong fragrance. It reminds me of a sweet just baked cupcake smothered in butter cream icing. I also get a toasted like smell that I can't really explain other than toasting s'mores Maybe that's where the carmel comes in ,but I don't get maple from this fragrancelike some hv. I was beginning to think BBW was a better option for my $ until I tried toasted vanilla cupcake and white birch the rest I was just sort of meh...about. but I prefer a strong candle and was under the impression every one of these candles were extremely strong fragranced and I found that not to be the case with some. But I love this one!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yummy I am very picky about fragrance and scents, and I have purchased many (We are talking small fortune) Slatkin candles. This is one of my very favorites. I like the smell of vanilla but most are artificial or chemically smelling so I don't bother. This has a light vanilla, brown sugary maple type scent as if you were baking. It is warm and comforting. My home smells homey, I don't know how else to describe it. I really enjoy this one, thanks Harry for creating such beautiful home fragrance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love them I love this scent. Yes, they were a little hard to start at first, but once they were started they burned evenly for hrs. As I am getting older my sense of smell is getting very weak and I could smell this candle . Love it and will buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Performance! My experience with Slatkin's Homeworx candles has been a mix of disappoint and delight. After being disappointed by his first 3 wick candles I was sure I would never buy again, but when the spring collection debuted I had an elderly relative ask me to order some, so I did. I wasn't expecting much based on my previous experience, and also because I dislike florals, but I was very pleasantly surprised and glad I had given this brand another chance. Since my personal preference is for autumn, Christmas, and food type fragrances, I decided to treat myself and splurge on several of the new 4 wick candles. So far I am not impressed and am regretting my decision. There are definitely some serious performance issues. I have other things to do than babysit a candle because the wicks are struggling, weak, and puny. The wicks on this Toasted Vanilla Cupcake candle did not want to light at all, I spent three minutes trying to get them to light, and when they finally did they were struggling from the start, every time I checked on the candle the flames looked like they were dying. After 2 hours it still hadn't pooled, even wrapping the jar in foil did not help, and there were no drafts, fans, AC, or any outside factors to affect its performance. On a cold sniff I was disappointed with this fragrance, I was expecting a bakery vanilla scent, instead all I got was a sickly pancake syrup odor. But I know that scents sometimes change when a candle is burning, so I still had hopes for it, but the poor wicks have dashed that. I can't smell it at all unless I put my nose right over the flames and even then all I get is a weak syrupy scent. I'm still hoping some of the othes I bought will pleasantly surprise me, but I will definitely be returning this set.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Don’t waste your money on the new release of the Homeworx candles. You can’t smell them unless you are standing over them. The spring and summer release were amazing. These are disgusting I can’t believe the quality of them. BBW are so much better. Never thought I’d say that.
