Description
In the 1950s, the Guerlain family decided to create a fragrance based on the surprising roots of vetiver. After a few trials, the Guerlain perfumer succeeded in making a subtle dosage that recalls the exhalations of the earth in the pale dawn light. This evocation of the world's first morning is enriched with a woody accord and the refined elegance of spices and tobacco to give rise to a rare and sophisticated fragrance.

With its modern geometry and rigorous shapes, Vetiver is an ever-fashionable figure of French elegance--fresh woody, natural, sober, and elegant. The fragrance opens on the spontaneous, piquant freshness of citrus fruits with orange, bergamot, and lemon. At the heart, spices such as nutmeg and pepper intensify the fragrance before giving way to vetiver, tobacco, and tonka bean. A fresh woody accord for a fragrance with authentic elegance.

How do I use it: Apply generously to the wrist and/or neck.

Guerlain Vetiver Eau de Toilette, 3.7 oz is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Oh No No No. Not Unisex I read someplace that this perfume resembles Creed original vetiver which resembles mugler cologne which is the unisex cologne that I wear everyday. I also read the Kate Moss wears this perfume as her signature sent so it must be good right? Not to mention I have about a dozen other perfumes by this brand. It was so incredibly awful that I cannot believe it. It was the worst perfume I've ever smelled. Even for a man. I honestly do not see why a woman would ever wear this or a man for that matter. I don't know what it was specifically that was the note that ruined it but it's the only note that I smelled from start to finish. As soon as I sprayed it I was overwhelmed with this horrible putrid smell that never let up. All these other note set are supposed to be present I didn't smell it all. I honestly couldn't believe how they smelled. It was shocking it was so bad. A man would be better off just buying Old Spice at CVS. I'm sorry to be Debbie Downer about this fragrance. I've never written a bad review about any perfume. This was that bad
