Prepare a luxurious lobster feast with these Maine lobster tails. Serve them with Kate's Maine Butter for a meal to remember.

How do I prepare it: Poach, bake, or grill. Start by completely thawing the lobster tails, rinse and drain off the salt water glaze, and pat dry.

To poach: Boil approximately 8 cups of water, put in up to eight lobster tails, turn heat down to low simmer, and cook one minute for every ounce. Remove lobster tails and let sit a few minutes to cool.

To bake: Preheat oven to 425F. Use kitchen shears to cut along the top of the shell, pull 3/4 of the meat up and position on top of the shell. Add sherry, wine, or water for a slight covering on the bottom of the casserole dish, and flavor with your choice of garnish, butter, or oil. Loosely cover with foil and cook for nine to 10 minutes.

To grill: Set grill to medium heat, approximately 350F. With shell side down, use a sharp kitchen knife to split the tail down the middle, completely separating the two halves. Flavor meat with marinade or butter, place flesh side down for three minutes, then flip the shell toward the grill for three to four minutes.

When done, the meat will be opaque and firm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lobster My aunt & I purchased these to share. My mom was raised in Maine so we have had lobster shipped to Michigan several times. I didn't think they would come close to what I have had before being I have never had frozen. These were delicious and exceeded our expectation of what I was getting. We will definitely order again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AStruggle To Remove The Shells I had my dinner guests watch the impressive video. None of these tails removed from the shells as expected. Pulling them out with the little fork was a joke at my house. Fortunately, a friend grew up in Maine and knew how to remove them by breaking off the tips of the tails and pushing them through with his thumb. Even doing that, was difficult and the heavy duty scissors were needed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so good lobster These lobster tails did not come out of their shells as shown on TV. Also , while boiling , they crumbled up into golf size balls . Was difficult to remove the meat from the shells . Can't say that I am pleased with these lobster tails , even the taste was not as I expected . I am quite disappointed . !! Will never order again . Sorry QVC

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as advertised on tv The lobster meat does not come out as easily as they show on tv. As a matter of fact, I had to use kitchen shears to cut open the tail to get the meat out. Also, the taste of the lobster meat was not as delicious as promised. QVC did stand by their guarantee if not satisfied they will refund your money, which is why I shop QVC more than any other place.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sure about these lobster tails. We cooked 5 and followed the directions to bake them. Out of the 5 3 were mushy and not very good. For the money we were not real happy. I guess we'll have to cook the others to see if they are mushy.
