Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT AS SHOWN The HASSLE of putting this contraption together is sweat inducing....it's maddening. It should have come with a dvd of a step by step. I went on youtube to see how it's done and was relieved to get help that way. I found the door options in my home not really great...I had to drag this thing out to a playground to find a nice, high, bar to attach it to....then I got a better workout - but DREW A CROWD of UNWANTED ONLOOKERS. To say it was embarrassing is an understatement. The concept is decent - the execution is not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy-duty This equipment is heavy-duty and appears well-made. I found it a little difficult to adjust height but after that was fine. Another slight issue is that you have to use it on a door that opens away from you and I found I really had only one door that would allow me enough room to work out so you need to take that in consideration. I have a weak leg so this is allowing me to do a squat more easily as I can also use my arms to help pull up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Addition But Does Not Replace a Gym As a certified Medical Exercise Specialist, Personal Trainer and back injury patient I purchased Gravocore to help train through weakness residual from a spinal injury. I use other suspension trainers including Pulley Trainers, TRX, Lifeline Jungle Gym etc. This equipment is different from all the above suspension trainers as the others use the UNSUPPORTED bodyweight of the exerciser as the resistance where the Gravocore uses the SUPPORTED bodyweight of the exerciser as the resistance for most exercises. The use of two pulleys attached to the harness worn by the exerciser cuts down on their bodyweight resistance by over half. So yes this makes most exercises much easier to perform. For beginners this is great but for intermediate and advanced exercisers it makes it difficult to create enough resistance to get an effective workout. That said the real value in this product is not stated by the manufacturer nor shown in the enclosed DVD. You can use the lighter resistance to train full range of motion to strengthen your bodies stabilizers including core and all joint stabilizing muscles in positions that would otherwise not be possible but for an advanced gymnast. This is where nothing else comes close to how Gravocore works. I would recommend Gravocore as a great tool to train core and joint stabilizers in conjunction with another suspension trainer that uses UNSUPPORTED bodyweight as resistance or another form of resistance training such as bands, cable machine (or Total Gym) or free weights. As a trainer I use many different types of equipment and training, each with its own advantages to accomplish all my fitness and rehab goals. If I were to pick a single piece of equipment it would be a Total Gym and I own the Gravity GTS version.
