Before the Nest Hello I had the Ring doorbell. Love the nest, not only is the picture much better but it also looks much better on the wall. I also like that it hooks into my Nest Hub so I could see who is at door and also answer through that instead of phone.

Nest Hello
When installing nest with their online instructions and you have problems they don’t have any instructions on how to fix. They do list the problems that may occur however they give you no instructions on how to fix them. I previously had a ring doorbell and was able to install easily and worked just fine I changed because I have nest and google and wanted my devices to be compatible. Big disappointment

It's still a great product in 2021
I recently moved into a new home and have been looking at smart doorbells for the longest time. I was waiting to see if Hello 2 will come out anytime soon, but from the 2021 Google IO conference, nothing was announced so I decided to get the Hello Doorbell. I'm glad I did as the setup was quite simple and works great. Since I already had a Nest camera system, it was easy to install another nest product and now I have a camera in the front. Glad to have a camera in front of the house now to catch any package thieves and also get notified when someone is at the door. The silent function is great also since we have a toddler who takes nap midday so the doorbell won't wake him. Even though it is a little bit outdated, it still works great and worth it. If you are on the fence about it, go ahead and get it!

It's great for keeping the house safe making sure I can see who's at the door making sure I can see who's at the door when I'm at work best I used sofar

Great doorbell!
This doorbell is great! It was easy to install to replace my current doorbell, the picture quality is amazing, and the viewing area is amazing! I can see my entire front yard with this thing.
