Rated 2 out of 5 by from Re-Gift As a Christmas gift, this is the comment after the recipient tried it on in a Red Tulip, Medium -- The dress didn't fit me and the front is way longer than the back...Not sure if that's a defect or just the style, but it looks funny on me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful dress I am not a big dress wearer but thought it is always good to have a nice black dress. I love milky knit, have only owned a few pieces. I saw this dress on special price thought I would try it. It is lovely, hangs nicely, wonderful light fabric yet the sleeves are long enough to cover the part of my arm that I don't like to show. This is a lovely dress and would recommend this item. I would not recommend as a gift, would buy for self only due to you would know better your size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice dress! Wow, wow, wow! I love George Simonton. His fashion never ceases to amaze me. Before this dress, I thought it would be impossible for me to wear a cap sleeve because I'm in my 40s and wear a 3x and generally feel more comfortable concealing my upper arms. However, given the George Simonton sale, I’ve been stockpiling his clothes, and gave this dress a try. Wow, pleasantly surprised. My normal QVC size fit well and the cap sleeves worked out just fine! I’m still mystified how that is even possible. I think it’s a testament to the genius of George Simonton. Overall, I found this dress to be a very nice dress, and quite slimming. And I even received a compliment from someone I passed on the street. I love that when that happens! Well done, Professor Simonton, well done! Highly recommend. Easy 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ??? I have to say that I was a bit hesitant to order this dress based on the overall reviews. The dress fit perfectly. The material and the way it draped was very flattering. I am 5'4''. I love it. I'm wondering if some of the buyers who rated this dress have atypical figures. I am so thrilled to find a dress I can wear that is appropriate for almost every function or event that I can think of. I am approaching 60 and have had trouble finding dresses that don't try to make me look like I am 30 again. Even though this dress works well for women my age, I think it is appropriate for women of all ages. Thanks, George!!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What's Going On?? I know George likes to be trendy yet give us essentials, but how ridiculous to have a dress longer in the front. And to this extent??!! What was he thinking?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Dress, But Not for Me I love the idea of this dress. I usually wear an XL to 1x, and I am 5'9". Based on reviews, I ordered the 2x, and it just didn't fit right. It was too short (that is a preference thing for me, others might like the length) in the shortest part of the asymmetrical hemline, but it was too big through the shoulders and top. It was so pretty and feminine and the fabric felt good, but just not the right fit, so I had to send it back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Have To Return The fabric is great. It is a weighted smooth knit and it does not cling and follows the form of the dress. Slimming and smooth like an expensive garment. Sizing is the problem. AT 5.6, 122. Pounds, an XS is HUGE. I usually wear a medium. Had I kept it, I would have put an ornamental bling thing on the band over the pleat in the front. It showed well on the models but something got lost in translation. The neck was not flattering either. Fabric was great.
