Great Globe to get the kids talking and thinking!
I got this globe for my 7 year old niece and she absolutely loves it! We were also very happy to see how much her 3 year old brother was interested in learning along with her (admittedly with a much short attention span). The questions were incredibly wide-ranging and they provoked all sorts of discussions and sharing of family travel adventures through the generations which was great! Would recommend.

Recommend this product for kids to learn the world around
This is a great product for kids to learn in a fun way the world around them. Being a great Geography subject enthusiast at school, I liked the talking globe as soon as I saw it and bought it as a gift for my nieces who are aged 3 and 7. When I was going over with the quiz with them on the talking globe, I did like to have had one of the features be improved on this product. We do have these questions being asked by the quiz master. I like the way the questions are composed .But, I would like options that are being given are explicitly given a number either (1 or 2) as the options . For example Some thing like " Which is the largest continent on the Globe" "Option 1 ASIA Option 2 AUSTRALIA". The current formatting of the same question on your current product is as below " Which is the largest continent on the Globe" "ASIA AUSTRALIA". The reason I would like to see this change is when a child is paying attention to the question and trying to figure out the answer and ends up picking the correct choice, they are not able to connect the correct answer they picked to either number 1 option or number 2 option. I do think making this change would benefit the learning of the child. Thank you again for making a great learning product like talking globe. Sincerely, Madhu

Awesome item!
This globe works so well! My daughter is only 4, so some of the content is over her head, but she is always so eager to learn with it. She frequently asks her grandfather and I to do the quiz questions with her. Even though she doesn't already know the answers, she loves watching me show her the places on the globe. Disclosure I received a free item that helped inform my writing.

Way over rated
The instructions are obscure. Most answers cannot be found on globe. Three categories, one being US and Canada only. One place in instructions says choose option 1 and in another it says choose 3. Doesn't matter it asks world questions no matter what you choose.

Very disappointing
My daughter got the Educational Insights Geosafari Talking Globe Jr. for her 6th birthday. Although the product was working, the join around the center of the globe (where the top half and bottom half come together) were not aligned properly when it was assembled. This has left a gap in places along the seam where the equator tape line that covers the join is not connected and has gone inside the seam. Some parts of the globe were not smooth either, a bit bubbly. This was very disappointing. We decided to return it. I would like to purchase another one as my daughter really liked it but I'm frightened to get the same poor quality. The more I read reviews about it and the more skeptical I am.

Missing some words!
Key locations like "north America" are missing from the voice. Questions come out like: ........is circled in red, true or false? Where the dots should be a name like north America. About 10% of questions are missing a few words. New batteries don' help.
