Great computer with tons of features
My use to date is somewhat limited as I am using this while riding on a non smart trainer so I haven't been able to test out its full capability. However, I do have a cadence sensor and speed sensor connected to it, which was super easy. I have become familiar with most features and they all seem fairly easy to use. I would recommend spending the first couple of hours playing around with the screens and info to not only customize it but to be able to easily navigate on the fly. If you already have one similar to this, disregard the previous comment. Lastly, battery life appears to be great! I currently ride 40-50 miles a day, again on a non smart trainer inside, and I charge it once a week.

Lots to Like
I decided to upgrade to the 1030 Plus from the 830. I bought my first 830 in January. It worked great for the first five months then the elevation fields were inaccurate. Swapped for another 830 (still under warranty) and it, too, worked great for four months until the elevation gain, profile and grade statistics became inaccurate. So, took that one back and got the 1030 Plus. I have used it on a couple of rides and so far so good. Like the larger screen and it is very easy to customize data screens. I prefer the power button on the 830 vs. the 1030 Plus. Still learning all the navigation features. Very easy to synch up to my IPhone. Can't give it a 5-star rating just yet, since it's only been used on two rides.

Completes my ride
After only a few days of use, my Edge 1030 has become an invaluable part of my routine. Stats in real-time and history tracking are clear, easy and exhaustive. Once through the set-up, usage is intuitive and seamless. Dislpay bright and well-sized. Looks great mounted on my ride!

Great size
The first time I used it, it froze and I couldn’t reboot it until after my ride. Overall, it’s a great size and I like the hill profile section. The graphics are small hopefully I can enlarge it.
