G.I.L.I. Petite Venice Lace Maxi Skirt with Scalloped Hem is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from sorry, no Loved it when I saw Courtney on air. Not sure why it's rated as running large as the lining is tight - as others have noted. The lace was defective on the one I received - not full sewn if a few places and some loose threads though it did not appear to have been previously owned. Did not exchange it, for the quality it was not a good value

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sizing is off I agree with some other people, that the sizing is off. I first order size 2 Petite. The length was fine, but the lining was too tight, so I exchanged it for size 4 Petite. Now, the lining is the same - tight, but the skirt is too long -almost 39 inches. It is not petite but regular size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Fantastic GILI Item Yet another fantastic GILI piece! I love the skirt, I purchased it in Ivory and after I received it immediately went back and bought the black. I am 5'3"and ordered the size 0, it is still a bit long, but with heels it will be fine. I was afraid the line would be discontinued after Lisa Robertson left, but I am pleased with the progression of the clothing and look forward to more new items. I already own at least one third of this line and will continue to buy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I Tried!!! First this skirt is beautiful. Ordered in 14 reg (went up size), it was too long (I'm 5'5" and I put on 3" heels....still too long) and too big. Sent back and ordered a 14 and 12 Petite. Again the 14(ordered in 14 because sometimes Petite fits small all around) was too big and there was some thing wrong with how the 12 liner skirt was attached to the lace skirt. Had to send all back. I'm a little tired of ordering G.I.L.I. because I never know what size to order. Wasted freight on all items! 5 Star for look, 1 star for sizing!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, Unique & Just Stunning! Wow! This is such an unusual skirt. You could Never just go out shopping and find this piece. It is beautiful, classy, very well made, beautiful lace. I just cannot say enough about it. I know that every man, woman, and kid young or older will check this skirt ouut when they see it coming. That is the only problem I see about it because I am a low-profile type person most of the time. It is classy though, so it is not a piece that will make people look at you because you dared to wear something too revealing, etc. So.... I think I can deal with the attention since it is due to its class and uniqueness. I am 5'2" and I will need to wear heels, inless I fold the wasteband over and wear a shirt that will be long enough to cover the waste. If I wear heels it will be fine though. I am 115lbs and I ordered the 2P in both colors and I like them both the same. I would not want to give either of them up. Very beautiful. This looks like something Lisa Robertson would have designed. I wonder about her all of the time, I miss her and hope that she is doing well. I like this new girl too, She is doing a good job and all of that, but I was attached to Lisa and miss her. Too bad they could not both be there designing GILI together.. ,, I am sure they could make it Rock even more so!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Length This is not a petite length. I would have to wear 5" heels in order for the bottom of the skirt to just touch the ground. Back it goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm Speechless! These gili items are really putting a hole in my wallet. Ever since Lisa left and Jill Martin took over these pieces have been of exceptional quality. I like most of the other reviewers bought both colors and glad I did. I have found so many ways of wearing them from dressed up to down with flats and heels and different tanks. I am 5'4" 120 lbs and bought 0P. It fits beautifully. Perfect length with flats or heels. I look so forward to wearing these this summer. It is a piece that looks so different than anything else out there. Be prepared for compliments galore! I do find this line to be really pricey even for this skirt but because it is so unique I am willing to invest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular! I really went back on forth on this skirt, but so very pleased that I made the plunge. I love all aspects of this skirt. I am 5'1" and about 120...I carry the majority of my weight in the hips so I ordered a 4. The size fits on the hips, but is too big in the waist. Typical problem for me. I bought the black and find the lace to be very sophisticated and vintage. The skirt is like a satin so it's very comfortable. Thanks Q for such a beautiful skirt and for the petite size. I will say that I need help with a top...any suggestions?
