K7702 - Fuller Kitchen Solutions Manual Vegetable Curler & Slicer 4.6 5 46 46
Best Kitchen Appliance Ever I purchased this item a couple of weeks ago. I was amazed how easy it was to use and clean. The three cutting blades are terrific (wish there were more). I ordered one as a gift and sent it to my mother. 09-20-11
Not what I was hoping for The only blade that seemed to work easily and correctly was the "shoestring" blade. This is the only product I have ever purchased through QVC that I was totally dis-satisfied with. It seemed very cheaply made. I would pass on this one. We did try this many different times. 09-19-11
Such A Pretty Salad! This slicer was really easy to use; I re-watched the video presentation and that helped alot. Make sure you have it suctioned to the counter before you start. The curly onions and carrots make such a fabulous presentation in a salad. I plan to use it to make veggie pasta, too. This is such a bargain as well. Other spiral slicers I found were twice the price of this one. As far as giving it as a gift...just put it in a pretty gift bag...no worries! 09-08-11
Love this slicer! Great gadget for a gadget lover like myself. My summer squash is coming in, and I'm looking forward to big plates of spaghetti and meatballs, using squash spaghetti, of course. This little machine is very sturdy, the suction cups hold it well, it's fast to use and easy to clean. I can fully recommend it. 07-09-11
Love it, works great This is a great gadget. I've used it 3 times in the last 5 days.bIt's fast, easy to use & clean up. I eat low carb. This allows me to have zucchini "pasta". 01-31-11
HAD TO SHOW HIM HOW . GOT ONE FOR MY BROTHER, IT JUST SAT THERE IN HIS HOUSE UNTILL I SHOWED HIM HOW TO USE IT. NOW HE USES IT ALL THE TIME, LIKE I DO MINE. LIKE IT BETTER THAN A MACHINE AND EASIER TO CLEAN.. LOVE IT. 08-29-10
Love It Took it right out of the box and made veggie pasta. Can't wait to see what else I can make. 08-10-10
Quirky Gadget This little gadget works very well. To those who say there are no instructions, there are......on a single sheet of paper. When I first received it, I thought there was none also, but discovered it later on the one sheet that was included in yes, the plastic bag packaged, slicer. It would be hard to give it as a gift because of the lack of clear instructions. Packaging could be improved, instructions could be more clear and unless you've seen the demo, the page really does not explain things well at all. But it works and I am happy with it. I would have given it 5 stars but for the instruction and packaging issues. 06-14-10
Whacky Machine That Actually Works This machine actually works...but I have yet to do a carrot because the center core is not cut and a carrot has to be much larger than the stabilization core. I love it with cukes because it makes a little bit of food seem extravagantly huge. One can pretend the food is pasta & save oneself from tons of empty calories & carbs. Great for dieters or for WOWing yourself and others with fancy salads, etc. It is a GREAT conversational piece as you use it with people who have never seen one work. Great if you are having a casual party & want lots of curious, talkative, interested guests laughing in amazement at what this machine does to a zuchinni. You can be a kid again using this inexpensive cutting tool. There is nothing else on the market that will do this. I only hand wash it because I do not have a dishwasher. It takes under 5 minutes to disassemble and wash. It is plastic but well made & sturdy. Because my counter space is limited, it is relegated to the cellar until the next use. I used it a lot at first but then, for who knows why, went on to other gadgets and ways of prepping veggies. My recommendation is buy if you want some whacky, unusual ways of preparing veggies and fruits. You may give it a vacation for awhile and then get reinterested in using it. It is fun & will bring the kid out in your personality. 03-30-10
No Instructions!! I haven't tried this yet, and according to the other comments it works great so I will be keeping it as I bought it for a gift. However, I was VERY disappointed with the fact that it did not in clude any instructions at all! None! It arrived with the machine in a plastic bag and that's it! It would have been nice if there were even just some simple instructions, suggestions, or ideas for use. Apparently I'll have to explain what it's for to the person I'm giving it to. :( 03-25-10
Cool Gadget This gadget is pretty cool. My kids will eat apples everytime I had them one sliced by this tool. I think it's worth the money to put in your kitchen. 03-24-10
Not Flimsy! Fun and Awesome I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about. It is not flimsy, it has suction cups that hold it in place. I've used mine constantly with no problems at all. It does help if you cut off the end of the zucchini or whatever so that the tines can pierce it better and hold it in place more steadily. You also have to impale the other end of the veg onto the stainless steel blade in the center on the opposite side of the tines so it is firmly in place and steady before you start turning the crank. I love that all the blades store in a compartment right on the unit--no more lost pieces. I make noodles out of zucchini, butternut squash, carrots, beets--it is a huge help to a raw foodist or anyone who wants to cut calories and carbs. You can have a huge plate of zucchini noodles for less than 25 calories, very low carb, and covered by your favorite pasta sauce you will never know the difference. A huge plate of regular pasta can be 600-800 calories before the sauce! Kids love making noodles and rings and cuts with this. What a great way to get kids excited about veggies! The price is excellent on this. I have seen these always in the $35-$45 range. I was so excited to get one for less than half that! My only criticism is that the instruction sheet is not so great. You have to guess at which blade does what. The flat blade makes rings, the blade with the big spikes makes julienne cut thick curly noodles, and the blade with the little spikes makes thin curly noodles. There, mystery solved. :) 03-24-10
