Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 81.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fitbit!! At first I thought it was defective, because when I wouldn't wear the Fitbit for several hours and put it on later - my calories lost would spike up, my steps too. I was going to return it but then my husband realized that the app on my phone tracks it too, even when I'm not wearing it. But the phone will not track the steps climbed, sleep or active minutes. So now that I know this, it works great. I do recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not worth the money I was so excited to get this watch, but was very disappointed after a few days of having it. It would not stay synced to my phone and it got to where I couldn't get it to connect at all. Returning this watch and getting the versa instead.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from QUIT WORKING I did like the look and overall function of the fitbit ionic, but after 6 weeks, it quit working. It was charging but no screen/nothing. It first started missing texts then music would skip in and out. Eventually, stopped working all together. I originally had the alta which was a good product. I wanted the ability to get music and still have more of the fitness aspect and so decided to purchase instead of an iwatch. I should have listened to my son who kept encouraging me to get an Iwatch instead of this product. Ionic was good when it worked. Don't take a chance with loosing your money. Too expensive of a product to work just past your 30 day return policy. I had thought it was the faulty fitbit wireless headphones which I purchased at the same time. I suspect now it was the watch itself. Also downloading the music was absolutely not user friendly. I would be interested in those positive reviews, if theirs is still working.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THE FITBIT IONIC IS USELESS. IT IS BASICALLY A GLORIFIED MANUAL WATCH. If you are looking for a sign to buy this watch, this is your sign telling you NOT to buy it. Go for the Apple Watch or Garmin instead. The heart rate monitoring is extremely inaccurate, the battery life is average at best, and Fitbit customer support is NOT HELPFUL. For over 6mo I have repeatedly tried to contact customer support through multiple platforms and all they tell me are that “their engineers are working on the problem.” If this is the case, they have been working on it for over 6mo while selling the public defective watches. If this is not the case, Fitbit has stuck me with a defective watch without offering to fix it or offer a replacement, most likely pushing the problem until it is past my warranty period. Do not waste your money and efforts on this watch.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't BUY I only had this for about 1 month. It will not turn on, It will not take a charge. It's JUNK. I was on chat with Fitbit people for around 40 minutes, they went through all the things I had already tried, what a waste of time. They said someone would be in touch with me, it's been over 8 days, no contact. I want my money back, they don't refund or exchange, Hahaha, what a mess. DO NOT BUY.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More than expected I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. It had everything I was looking for in a smartwatch. It does as promised, tracking is on point from steps to heart rate and much more. QVC came through with a great price also. Set up was a breeze and I had no issues with connecting it to my phone.
