Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Stove top Coffee Pot I love this pot, it's cute and easy to clean. I love fixing my breakfast, and this will perk away while I'm cooking eggs in my cast iron and making homemade bread toast. Did I mention that Alexa is playing Christmas music for me? I think the old pots were aluminum, but. I like this stainless one much better. It's easy to rinse and clean ready to sit proudly on my stove waiting to go into service again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Have..... Ordered two of these coffee pots for gifts. No more mornings without coffee when the power goes out. You can now perk coffee on top of your wood stove, or brew it outside on your barbecue grill. Put this in your hurricane/blizzard emergency kit bin...a must have. Brews a delicious pot of coffee!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from luv this Very easy to use. You get better coffee flavor with a percolater as water pours over grinds repeatedly. It makes even “dead” store bought shelf ground dry coffee tastes good. Do yourself a favor and get a coffee grinder for fresh grounds that still have natural oils and bioflavonoids in them - it’s not as hard on your stomach and gut and it tastes so much better. This Farberware pot is a great value, well made and stainless steel so you can’t go wrong. Doesn’t take too much effort over a drip maker to get a better quality cup. With QVC’s payment plan with no interest it’s very attainable. This particular unit is at a lower cost than other percolators elsewhere and is still good quality. It’s probably because it’s not a corded unit with a base but you brew on your stove. Which also makes all the parts fully immerseable and easier to clean. It’s a little wider and shorter than some units but you can still make 8 cups. The bottom fits on the smaller stove burner. It doesn’t produce a lot of steam so you don’t have to worry about getting blasted in the face. The manual says the handle can get hot, but if you use it on a burner the same size of the pot this shouldn’t happen. I use only spring or filtered water for making all my drinks so it doesn’t leave residue or hard water stains to scrub off. If you rinse this soon after it cools and wipe out any coffee oils left, then dry all the parts with a cloth, it will keep the nice clean stainless appearance and you’ll never have to scrub it. The only other last tips I can think of is what the manual said, to rinse the basket and leave it wet when you put the grounds in so it will keep them from clogging up the holes. And don’t let it stay boiling, just bring to a boil and then reduce to lower temp to brew for 5-7 minutes. Adjust the time to the strength of your grounds flavor. All in all a very good value for a simple stovetop stainless percolater that is easy to clean, very lightweight and easy to lift and pour (great for arthritis with its big comfortable seamless plastic handle), and easy to adjust the brew flavor. One of the best coffee brewing machines I’ve ever purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Morning Brew Great stove top percolator for everyday use. I use this a on gas range which is quick and easy. Being a child of the 50's this brew method is what I grew up with and the aroma is awesome. I still use a single cup drip for a quick cup but Farberware Classic is the real deal for coffee lovers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coffee Pot I bought this to use as a back-up when our electric coffee maker needed to be replaced. This is a great coffee pot in its own right. The stainless steel construction makes for easy clean up and there is nothing quite like a stove top brew. Just remember to use percolator grind coffee.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor quality had for 2 months . top feel on floor by accident. .hard plastic around the glass broke , it even bent the steel. warranty did not cover accidents. replacement piece with shipping came to $13.00.just about half of purchase. I would say the top construction is a piece of junk. Works good but do not drop top.
