Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality boots Like a lot of people, I'm sure, I drooled over the Fly London shoes and boots shown on the Q and kept telling myself that there's no way I could justify spending that much on a pair of shoes/boots. However, like a lot of people (I'm sure), I'll do just about anything for my kids. My daughter asked me to buy these RADA boots (navy, size 8), and thanks to a Q-Card, easy-pay (and the sale price) I was able to do it. I must say that the Fly London boots fulfilled expectations. The leather has a smooth, even finish; it is extremely supple -- which helps a lot getting these on and off. There is an attractive patterned fabric bonded to the inside of the leather which also helps the foot slide in and out. These hug the foot and ankle, so they give a streamlined, finished, kind of tailored look. Very smart. The navy blue is not too bright -- and not so dark that it looks black. I'd say the color is kind of muted -- maybe with a teeny bit of grey undertone. We like the fact that the rubber wedge part of the shoe is black -- which will help in the coordination of the navy shoe with black trousers. My daughter said she's sure that she'll have these for a very long time, and I agreed. Kind of like a good saddle or bridle -- gets better with wear (and care, of course). Well, I hope we're right, but for now, we're extremely pleased. I do have a CRITICISM -- not of the shoe -- but of I guess you would say -- of Fly London's actual service to customers. This is about the box in which the shoes themselves were packed. (Not the outer QVC box -- the actual box in which the shoes were packed.) My daughter said that in the background of the QVC set in the video presentation of this boot, she saw a really fancy black box with the Fly insignia on it. This gave her the impression that the boot would arrive packed in that box -- or a box similar to it. Instead, the shoes were packed in a scrunched unmarked box made of very lightweight corrugated cardboard that looked like it had been whitewashed like a picket fence. She was very disappointed. And I can attest that the box was so cheap that it was literally wrinkled. It's not a silly observation when I think about it. For the price of Fly London footwear -- would a sturdy box with a Fly London insignia be too much to ask? Other companies (like Naturalizer and Easy Spirit, for example) provide nicely-designed, sturdy boxes with their insignia -- sturdy enough to store the shoes in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love The Style, but .... First off, I love the style. Very cool. The leather is very soft. These are the second pair of Fly London shoes I have kept but not the second pair I have ordered. I am really not a fan of European/whole sizing and I don't care if that is what most of the world does. With whole sizing you can get an acceptable fit but not the excellent fit you get with half sizing. If I am paying a hefty price, I don't want to settle for acceptable, I want a great fit. Hence, the returns. That said, these did fit better than others I have tried. Although the traditional Fly London soles are designed to create a rolling movement, which is very nice, the brand could benefit from using a plusher, more cushion-y insole. The soles are pretty hard with very little bend. A little more loft and cush inside would make them even better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great But Too Small Great but small... definitely go up a size because they still will not look huge on your feet

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Definitely Runs Small I loved the look of these Fly London boots but they definitely run small. I have seven other pair of Fly Londons and all of them are a size 37. I needed a 38 in this style. I ignored the other reviews I had read and ordered a 37. I had to return them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This shoe runs on the small side. I have never bought shoes online, and there was no guide. Because it seemed inconvenient, I returned the item. For those of you who are interested in this boot, go one size bigger than you would normally buy. In my opinion they run small.
