FHE 30" Storage Bench with Tapered Top and Wooden Feet is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the feet This is perfect, in my living room, where my kitten has pee accidents. I, already, had one in there, but it didn't have any feet so it was at urine level, and I keep my Berkshire throws in there. The urine started to soak through the bottom. I'm not worried about that now because it is now up off the floor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little piece I got the teal/aqua. It is a deeper teal. Very pretty. Feels like linen. Sturdy. Using it to keep shoes in by the door. The only thing I wish was different, have hinges on one end for easy opening. Not sure if maybe hubs can do this. I realize that it would eliminate the whole "coffee table " option but in reality this is far too small for a coffee table. This would be excellent for a dorm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great necessity for apartment dwellers Just received mine today and it was put together in 5 minutes tops. Very sturdy and great as a 3 in 1 ottoman or coffee table and storage. Bought this as a lunchtime special. Now wishing I had gotten 2 more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NO STRENGTH IN THE BENCH It looks like a bench! It thinks it is a bench! It wants to be a bench!!! BUT, it is a very unsteady version of said bench. Looks good in the room (gray color). And is the perfect size. But the durability is just not there. If it had not been a lunchtime special, I would return it. Just a collapsible counterfeit "bench".

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Storage Bench debacle While I appreciate the looks and storage capacity of this piece, no one can sit on this bench! Major complaint: the leg screws are not lined up with either the metal flange that is supposed to go between the legs and the bench, or the internal pad screw holes. After trying all four legs and flanges in different bench corners, I was still only able to use one of the metal flanges out of four. Consequently, the bench is not exactly level and is not as strong as it is meant to be. Poor quality control. Not worth the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lid Caves In These look nice but don’t sit or kneel on it. The lid collapses in. I weigh 135 lbs. It collapsed on my 75lb grandson.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from More expensive than it should be. About 3 months ago I was happy to receive this in the teal. The color was just what I was looking for as an accent piece under a large window. I put one small blanket inside at the time. Now 3 months later the front and back have bowed out. No one ever sat on the bench and we never used it as a table. The heaviest weight that has been on the lid has been a stack of folded bath towels waiting to be taken upstairs. Needless to say, I am less than pleased since I paid $49 plus shipping. There is a definite design flaw in this piece. Hopefully it will be fixed as this really is a nice looking accent piece. Buy the benches and cubes that have a lid which fits over the top of the bench/cube and a couple inches down the side. They are much more sturdy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Choose which side you really want to use... I was excited to see this product as we have a toddler and removed the coffee table from our living room. It's soft and works as both storage and coffee table when flipped. However, the sides have started to gape from flipping the top to the coffee table side. We use this side more often as a table for snacks etc. We noticed that the sides gape from using the coffee table side so that when we place the soft top back, it does not fit securely. We have had 2 people fall through the ottoman when they sit on the soft side (as shown as extra seating and can hold enough weight for someone to sit) the people who have sat weigh less than 180 lbs. I am a little disappointed that the product has become stretched and does not safely allow me to use the ottoman side due to using the product as a table... which is part of what it is supposed to do. However, it fits the decor of our living room and we plan to use it mainly as storage and a small table for now since it no longer works as both an ottoman and table.
