Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous Opal More fire than I have seen in a real Ethiopian Opal. Ordered it last year and wore it many many times. These opals are fragile. It’s the nature of the stone. Not to be worn in extreme heat or cold. Also as I found out the hard way, when not wearing store in jewelry box or other. I misplaced my ring and it was exposed to more than average humidity during this past summer, living in the NorthEast. The stoned turned very milky because the stone absorbed so much moisture. Anyway loved it so much I’m ordering another!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Solid meh Unimpressed. The opal is pretty small and the setting looks cheap. I realize it's an inexpensive ring but it looks it. Something I could see a teenager wearing. At 33, I'm too old for it. There is fire in the opal though, so I gave it 2 stars. Could be a good gift for your daughter but skip it for yourself.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fake jewel I bought this pretty ring July 7, 2017. The back of stone peeled off & there is no opal sparkle in ring. QVC says they won't replace or refund money. They have offered a $20 credit towards another order. Hope I don't have to use credit right away. Do your homework. How many of the jewels are fake.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weak setting I was sadden to have my stone fall out of it's setting only being a couple months of ownership. Hopefully a jeweler can set it back for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It The opal has a lot of play in color, the zircons look like diamonds, the silver is what I expected, what people need to understand is silver can’t be cleaned like gold, and the ONLY way to clean and care for your opal, is gently wash in soapy warm water, not hot, not cold, the opal will crack. They are delicate stones, not meant for everyday wear on the hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous I have long wanted an opal ring but put it off due to its reputation as soft and hard to care for stone, and also because good gem quality stones are expensive. This truly fine jewelry piece is gorgeous..the color changes as beautiful as I dreamed of. I am not a delicate person and this stone has stood up even though I wear it frequently. So happy with it!
