The Emjoi eRase is an amazing hair removal epilator with 60 tweezer-action discs for hair removal from the root for up to six weeks. With Precision Hair Removal Technology, removing hair from the root has never been easier. Dual-opposed heads help stretch the skin, while the sensitive attachment hides some of the tweezers, great for sensitive areas.

How do I use it: Make sure to use on clean, dry skin. Do not use on skin with makeup or lotion. To help minimize discomfort, hold the skin surrounding the area from which you are removing hair very taut. Do not apply pressure. Gently glide the epilator in short, quick, brush-like or sweeping motions in the direction of hair growth. For your protection, your unit may slow down if it is pressed too hard against the skin.

Tip: When using the epilator for the first time, it's suggested that you test the unit on an area that has light hair growth in order to get accustomed to the epilation process.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money I have to go over the same spot SEVERAL times, and it still doesn't remove all the hair. It takes a very long time to remove hair, which would be ok if it didn't grow back for 4 weeks (like advertised), but my hair starts growing back in a few days!!! I also have issues in certain areas: After removing arm hair, I have red bumps all over my arms for 1-2 hours. After removing facial peach fuzz, I have red bumps on my face for a minimum of 3 days!!! I don't have sensitive skin, and I'm not crazy hairy or anything. I tried it many times hoping that the bumps would lessen over time, but they don't.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed II'm back to waxing. This unit did not do a thorough job. It wasn't worth it at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love It! Took a bit (a time or two) to become accustomed. I HATE my facial hair MORE. Now I simply and quickly and painlessly use as needed. If you HATE your hair like I do, trust the process and give it a try. I don’t regret it. I love it. My face NEVER feels like a man’s 5 o’clock shadow. Regrowth is soft. Can’t be without it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Waste Your Money This is supposed to pull hair out by the root, but I believe it just breaks the hair off. My hair is growing back just as fast as if I'd shaved. At least with shaving it's fast and it doesn't grab my skin and give me the mother of all pinches! I've carefully read all the instructions and other peoples' suggestions, been careful not to press down or use any pressure and I still get terrible results. I have to go over each section multiple times and still can't seem to get all the hair. I have very fine hair, so I can't believe it is that hard to pluck out. I've waited months before leaving this review hoping I'd figure this out, but all I've figured out is it's just an expensive piece of junk. Save your money!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grateful for this tool! I am grateful for this tool! It isn't as wonderful as presented, but it is still good. I have to address all of the "it hurts" posts: What hair removal doesn't hurt a bit? Of course if you want the results of "NO" hair, it will probably hurt to remove hair effectively. So, yes, it hurts a bit. However, you can handle it. I have used waxing and it hurt, I have tweezed and it hurt, I have used laser and it hurt, I have used depilatory creams and they hurt, etc. So, yep, if you plan on removing hair from the roots, it will probably hurt a bit! So, if you want to get the results of less hair or no hair, then toughen up. Now this just barely hurts, by the way. If you start at the lip, it will be more uncomfortable, but if you start on the chin and chin line you will be ready for the slight sting. I use it two times a week: Wednesday and Saturday. I like the results but wish it worked so well I wouldn't have to use it at all due to the hairs just giving up, but genetics must keep that from happening for me. It is what it is, so I keep at it and happy with the results. It takes about 15-20 minutes a time and sometimes I have to use one of those little razor-like tools to get those that are too short or too fine for this tool. It is a tool and if you are realistic about what is going on and that you can deal with a little sting, you will be happy, too. There isn't anything that is 100% effective or the COSTLY laser treatments I endured would have been enough!! So, deal with what you have to get the results you want. It truly isn't that bad at all!!! Give yourself a learning curve with the tool and your needs and you will get it and be pretty happy. It is better than anything other than waxing for me, but I don't have time to get to someone often and regular enough to get a good quality wax. Try it and be grateful for the results, they will be better than before you tried the tool. P.S. I have tried it all over...if you know what I mean...and the best results happen on the face, arms, and under arms. The other areas, not so great of results. It works only slightly on the areas for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It Depends Nothing beats laser hair reduction for dark hair. But if you have light color hair, or can't have laser, or need post-laser touch-ups, maybe this is for you. I had laser hair removal, but some spots grew back after a surgery, and laser misses spots anyway, so occasional hair removal is part of my life. I hate shaving, and loved the idea of something I could do outside the shower, that would also reduce the frequency of hair removal. I will say that there's no way I could have tolerated epilation prior to laser. However, as a touch-up method, it's a nice option. My personal hang-up is that it requires I exfoliate way more than I would normally, making mid-life grooming (will it ever end????) more of a hassle than if I just shaved. This is because my hair is now always ingrown when removed from the root. So, while I think this device is fun & handy, it's not for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope First tried with the guard on because I thought it might hurt. It didn’t , but it wasn’t grabbing many hairs, then took guard off and still wasn’t getting all. Turned up the speed and went to town. Ended up with a sore upper lip and long hairs that it missed. Followed instructions perfectly. Just didn’t work for me. Bought a $3 tube of Nair for face, and it removed all hair in 5 minutes! Save your money ladies
