Rated 4 out of 5 by from Make sure you spray it with cooking oil first It is a marvelous cookware to cook and sear meat. Just make sure you use a cooking oil spray before you lay the meat down and also spray the heated top before you set it on top. Makes cleanup easier too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sticks I own Le Creuset Grill and I must say I have no problems with sticking but this particular Grill is terrible. Everything stuck on the grill side. Maybe the flat side will be better. I am very used to use in cast iron, this did not measure up at all. I am being very honest because I do love Emeril Lagasse, especially that he's from my hometown very sorry Emeril

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cracked on third use Despite the negative reviews regarding clean up, I bought this griddle thinking it's as durable as the Emeril cast iron skillet that I bought from BBB years ago. But the issue wasn't the cleaning...the pan made a loud pop and cracked while I was heating it on the stove and this was just on my third use. Never placed it in the oven or dishwasher. Sorry, much as I really wanted to like this pan, I had to return before anyone got hurt!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I BOUGHT TWO Am very happy with this purchase. Had an issue with some sticking on first use of the griddle side while frying breaded fish. I just scraped the stuck food off, wiped the griddle down, slathered a bunch of veggie oil on it and then continued frying more fish. It was a lot better. I'm sure the sticking will wane with use. Before I use the grill side, however, I will do some top-of-stove seasoning. I don't have an oven so that is why I have to do this on the burner. The colors are pretty. I bought the red for myself and the copper for some friends who use their outdoor gas grill A LOT. I truly enjoy this and I pray they will too. I even bought K45549 CE SS Set of 3 Round Chef Presses just so I'd have some lighter presses on hand. Go ahead. Take the plunge if you're wondering. This is a good product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stove top messy Might have kept if the sides were higher. Made a mess all over the stovetop. Sent back after giving it 3 tries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great griddle with a little effort! I must admit that the reviews I read before purchasing were discouraging, but I knew that cast iron cookware - with some effort can be your favorite item to cook with. When I received my griddle I immediately scrubbed it down (somewhat roughly) with soap and water. And I began the seasoning process ("pre"-seasoned products are NEVER enough to give the pan the non-stick coating you expect), I initially warmed the skillet over a burner to dry it and warm it up to open up the pores to except the oil. I coated it with avocado oil using as thin a coat as possible (the surface should look dry as though you haven't applied any oil at all) and I stuck it in a 500° oven for an hour, let it cool for two hours then I repeated this process "six" times. And for good measure, I coated the griddle with bacon grease and seasoned once more. The first thing I cooked in it was a few strips of bacon and then I followed it up with the ultimate test - an egg. I poured off most of the oil added a dab of butter and added the egg. I was nervous but the edges lifted with no problem and the egg glided across the pan. I know this seems like a lot of effort but it works. You can do this in stages. Haven't used the grill side yet but I am expecting excellent results as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Purchase Ever This item was nothing like it was demonstrated. Used twice. Everything stuck and was literally impossible to clean. Also showed spots of rust. Sent back immediately.
