E06900 - Eikon Digital Privacy Manager & Fingerprint Reader Desktops
I love this device
.............I shop a lot on QVC but never felt as compelled as I do now to write this review.
I am physically challenged, mobility and dexterity wise.
I like the other reviewer thought I would be returning it as well, but far from it..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a hard enough time both remembering and typing the numerous passwords I use on a daily basis also takes a lot of time and typing.
Now with this device both my 9/5 job and my personal computing are much more enjoyable.........where was this 5 years ago????????????????????
I found it fun!
I honestly was expecting having to return the product after reading the other reviews but I am glad I was not disappointed.
The software did not automatically open after the install but it was easy to find. I read the manual and viewed the software tutorial before I tried to install or register web pages or programs.
I have enjoyed using it. Fun gadget. Good GUY gift.
This is my frist time doing a review. The reason I'm doing it is because this is a great product. I didn't know that I had over 20 websites that I go to that use passwords untill I started programing this device. You do probably have to know alittle bit about computers in order for you to use this correctly. I'm late 30's and do know some about computers. Would I buy this for my parents who are in there 60's probably but I would have to set it up for them. Works great with internet explorer and it's nice cause you can set up different users. I have a roommate and I set him up on my computer now all he has to do is swipe his finger and it goes to his page with all his favorites.
RETURNED SAME DAY
EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTILL AFTER I PUT FINGERPRINT TO FINISH, THEN IT SAID DEVICE DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH MEMORY, O.K. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN. AFTER A FEW MORE TRIES, BACK GOES THE PIECE OF JUNK, HOPE THIS REVIEW WILL SAVE SOMEONE BAD PURCHASE
It isn't working
I have been trying to get this to work for over 3 hours now. There is no technical support at all, even when using search to find the companies web site. After all this time, all I can get it to do is bring up Yahoo Mail, and I still have to add the password and user name. It doesn't work with Firefox as promised either. I'll try for a little longer, but even if I do get it to work, I still won't recommend it. unless you are a computer genius, you will have a hard time making it work. I am computer literate and I failed so far.
