Echelon Smart Connect Exercise Bike w/ Echelon Workout App is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good bike, shaky app, so-so customer service I've had the bike for a week and there's a lot to like but also some warning signs. The bike is solid, quiet and really good to ride. It was pretty easy to setup (about 30 min for someone mechanically inclined) and the seat height & front/back position are nicely adjustable. The handlebars are very sturdy but not that comfortable. Probably need to add some padding myself. The app is shaky. In my first two sessions it crashed twice. And it can be slow to respond, even with solid WIFI (3+ bars) of connectivity. The bluetooth pairing works about 75% of the time.... but sometimes I have to try to connect 3 or 4 times before it is recognized. As others have mentioned, you have to pay for a monthly subscription to see any stats of your ride. :( You do, however, get a free 3 month trial first. You CAN however ride the bike without the app and use the knob to set the resistance. You, of course, won't see your stats without the app. They have a web version of their app, but navigation is pretty poor. There's a very long list of rides and there's no way to browse them but with your mouse scroll wheel. There's no scroll bar to click and drag. Page up and down don't work either. There's also no way to filter the rides you're most interested in (or sort the rides for that matter). Also on the web version there's no way to see or edit your profile, your billing, etc. Support is also shaky. I called at 6pm, got a message that support was open until 6:30pm ET and then got automatically transferred to another extension, which said that support was only open until 5pm. I checked out their FAQ and some of their support videos, but the instructions don't match what I see on the Android version of their app (to add another family member and to connect your Fitbit). I did get an email response one day later, but I asked the rep for written instructions and am still waiting a day later. Also, I wish they had a customer forum where customers could post suggestions and feedback for other customers. It feels like they're trying to control information about their product... Bottom line: well built bike but you pretty much have to by a monthly subscription to get all of its benefits. And the app needs time to mature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! I was a little apprehensive when buying this bike, but due to the amazing price and easy pay at QVC, I took a chance... and I am glad I did. I had looked at the Peleton but the price was another 1200 over the Echelon. First the cons: I had to assemble it myself, which took me a few hours. I could not get the app working for the first few days... very frustrating, but after I eventuality heard from the tech support,( he was so good, A+ in customer service) it turns out I had a extra dot in my email address. Once this was fixed I was up and running. I did buy a inexpensive tablet and Bluetooth speaker as well. The pros: this bike is sturdy ( I am a plus-size woman) and it does not shake or wobble and it is whisper quiet. The best part is ... it absolutely kicks my butt! I am drenched in sweat after every workout. I have lost 20 lbs in the two months since I started using it. It also has a lot of different classes, I have tried many instructors and they are all different and motivating from Randall to Missy Elliot( not the singer, just has the same name) they are a lot of fun. Sometimes I take a live class, they call out your name and tell you not to give up. You can also compete with others in your class via the leaderboard if you like to do that and all your stats (watts, RPM, resistance) are right in the screen in front of you.The on demand classes have so much variety, with extra yoga, stretch, Pilates and even a nutrition series! After the 90 Day trial you can pick your level of membership but the highest one I saw was 34$/ month. I have never done the same class twice. I bought the clip shoes after a month and feel more connected to the bike. I am so pleased with this bike and with zero interest, easy pays, low price and free delivery... thank you QVC, you really can’t go wrong with this bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So happy! I am using this bike 4 to 5 days a week. The app makes all the difference. The instructors push you harder than you think you can go and I’m seeing big results. I love this bike. Worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bike. Awesome price! I don't usually write reviews but had to when I received this bike. I did spinning at a gym for almost two years and loved it, but with kids, work and just crazy schedules I couldn't find time to get there. This bike is awesome and the workouts are just as good as the gym! Took my husband about 30 minutes to put it together and I was connected and ready to ride in about 5 minutes! I had debated getting the competitor but I love that I could use my spd shoes and not have to buy another pair for just one bike. The only negative I have is it is not really easy to adjust the seat and the bars.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bike is sturdy but app keeps crashing The good: The bike was easy to build aside from a bad bolt on the pedal which took as long to screw in as the rest of the bike (either the screw was too think or the hole was not the right size). The bike feels sturdy, but have not gotten to ride it much. The Bad: Can't ride it because the app keeps crashing on my iPhone X and won't install on my Samsung Tablet (device not compatible) or on my Amazon FireTab (not available in store). Was able to ride it for a couple of minutes from iphone but the app kept crashing afterwards. I read other reviews and suggestions to keep close to the router, but I have a great WiFi connection and the router is just outside the room. The whole point of the bike was that it used my own device and I was not limited to the built in device as in other exercise bikes. The resistance won't work without connecting to a phone or tablet. They don't have a page with what tablets and OSs their app works well in which does not make it easier. It says

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far So Good I am a 30 something year old man who was looking for a way to get some exercise at home while my 3 year old slept. I am tend to over research just about everything I buy, but was really having some trouble finding any reliable reviews of this product. This is my first impressions of receiving the bike, putting it together, setting up the app, and going for a couple of rides. I have never bought anything on QVC before, but once I had made my mind up to buy the bike it was a no brainer so that I could save some money. All in all it took 12 days from the time I ordered the bike to the time I received it. Not to bad. the box isn't too big, but it is over a 100 pounds. I had the UPS driver just bring it right into the house. Putting the bike together was pretty easy. There are a handful of steps most of which are intuitive. Probably took me about 45 minutes to get it all put together with the help of a toddler. Having researched some of the issues that people had before hand I had a better idea of how to set up the app. Once you download the app you will need to create an account for yourself and then connect your bike to the app (Select Equipment). Once connected you go to "Buy Subscriptions" and under each subscription was the option to try your 90 days for free. You will need to have the subscription attached to your apple id (credit card) so that it can begin billing you for whatever subscription plan you chose once it runs out. You will just need to cancel the subscription before the 90 days is up if you want to avoid this. Each time you power up the bike and open the app you will need to connect your bike. There is a blue light that will flash when the bike is not connected and stay steady once it is connected. Would be nice if it just always saw your bike and automatically connected but it doesn't. It's not hard to connect your bike and the connection is immediate. Once you have signed up for a subscription (90 day trial), and your bike is connected you can now pick a class that you want to try. I had no trouble loading up a class and getting started. All of my stats were being pulled up on my phone (None of my tablets are new enough to use the app so I have to use my phone right now) and I had no trouble with the app crashing. The class I took really hit me hard. I used to spin a lot, but hadn't in quite a few years. I tried to get right back into it, but got my butt kicked. Which is great. In conclusion I like what I have seen so far. The bike looks good, runs quiet, and is sturdy. I look forward to more rides and losing weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Purchase I ever made! Went into this worried about a couple of these reviews but I have had none of the issues mentioned in the bad reviews. Bike rides great was easy to setup and the App works great. A lot of classes to take also! Had one problem connecting to the bike but I emailed support and it was fixed in about 15 minutes! Great Job Jon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product The bike is excellent. It is very stable and does not feel like it will fall over when you get on or off. We had trouble with accessing the free trial period in the echelon app. We were referred to John Santo. He is the best tech I have ever worked with. He talked us right through the process and we were able to use the free trial.
