Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dyson not for me My Hoover Wind Tunnel finally gave out so I broke down and bought the Dyson Multi Floor vacuum. Tons of people can't be wrong, right? The only two things I liked were the incredible suction and long cord. Other than that, my biggest complaint is that it is HEAVY. I am no whimp but my husband insisted that he will be the one to carry it upstairs. The wand is so annoying when in use. The wand attachment is too stiff that when I use it to vacuum under the bed or baseboards, the whole unit follows right with it. The vacuum is made with a lot of cheap plastic as well. I can already see breakage or cracking down the road. I vacuum our carpet/wood floors 3x a week. I just can't justify spending $350 on a vacuum if I'm not going to love it. Back to Hoover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pick up!! I love my Ball Multifloor!! I filled the bin up 3 times in my living room the first time I used it. I didn't realize my house was soo dirty, my old machine wasn't pickup up anything. It's made such a difference in my house. The carpet feels great, the house smells cleaner and I feel like my allergies have much improved since the first use. This thing can suck!!! This vacuum will not pick up things like dog food on hard floors with the brush head, because it didn't designed to do so. It picks up all the dust, hair, pine needles, and such though, which is what I want. I don't want stuff shooting back at my feet when I'm vacuuming like ither machines, When I need to pick up larger stuff, I use the hose and tools. I've read some pretty negative reviews on here from others about this machine. If you have an issue with your vacuum, call the company! It has a 5 year warranty on it and Dyson has great customer service. They will help you troubleshoot any problem, and if it's not something they can help with over the phone they will fix it for you under the warranty. I've had great experiences with them in the past. There are too many people on here who leave bad reviews because they haven't taken the time to understand how their machines work. And I think the comments they leave are unjust.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way Too Heavy Worst purchase I ever made from QVC! I LOVE QVC but NOT this Dyson. Way too heavy to maneuver, hard to use. I should have stuck with my $100.00 Shark. My Shark picked up as well as Dyson but easier to use. Sssssooo disappointed in Dyson!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Twice Burned, No More I owned a Dyson and the hose got damaged. I couldn't tell if it was my fault or not. I wasn't thrilled with the product until then but when the multifloor came out, I decided to go for it since I have high pile carpet, low pile carpet, tiles and hardwood. I had heard that it was a vast improvement over the last model so even though I wasn't thrilled with the last one, I decided to get the new one. Worst. Decision. Ever. When I got it, I couldn't tell that it was a "vast" improvement over the last model. It's still heavy and clunky and non-intuitive as far as emptying it and pulling out the hose. I was very careful because of what happened the last one. Still, it was tough to figure out. I was regretting the decision to purchase almost immediately but THEN the thing stopped picking up within weeks. I do not have pets. I do not have children. I am very clean and neat. I did not overwork this machine at all. I used it once a week for about an hour. I had NO idea why this thing stopped working. I did everything recommended from a slew of YouTube videos. I even replaced the filters though it should not have needed one. I brought it to a repair person who said they have horrible reputations and he couldn't guarantee that he could figure it out if I had already done most of the things he was gong to do. He looked at it for about 30 minutes and then said he had no idea why it wasn't picking up. I called another repair person and told him the whole history. He told me to contact Dyson which I did. Dyson has never answered me. DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My Dyson I also bought a Dyson from QVC. I've had the machine for eight years and I wouldn't trade this vacuum for any other. We have a long haired dog. A large dog who sheds enough to fill the canister every time I use it which is twice a week. My Dyson works as well now as when I bought it. Also, I've never had it serviced. I take it apart twice a year to clean it and it has never failed me. I would recommend anything Dyson makes to anyone!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thought It Would Be The One 3 years ago, my husband and I moved to our dream house. It has tile, carpet, and wood floors. I can not say how many vacuum cleaners I have had since I have been married. We have always had dogs, cats, and children as well as other animals. My husband and I both like to work outside and garden. I also do a variety of artistic activities inside and out. I decided when we moved into our current house that I was through buying a vacuum cleaner every couple of years and decided to invest in a really good vacuum cleaner from Dyson. I bought it from QVC but it was still an investment. I was somewhat disappointed from the beginning because it didn't seem to be wonderful but I kept it anyway in hopes that it could last the test of time. Well, three years have past and the thing is wheezing like an old man. I suppose that this vacuum might be perfect for people who aren't very active, but it hasn't proved to be any better at cleaning our house than a Hoover or a Shark. It NEVER picks up everything on our tile or wood floors the first time. And it picks up stuff that is "medium" weight but it won't pick up something a little "heavier" like a tiny pebble or little clod of dirt. I have to use the hose thing for that. Frankly, my little Shark does as good a job and isn't as heavy as the Dyson and it is heavy. I sew and embroider a lot and there are always threads on our carpet in our bedroom. The Dyson won't pick those up either which makes me crazy. I suppose if you track very little dirt in and don't really do anything in your house other than eat, sleep, and watch TV and don't have pets or children, this would be good for you. It looks really nice.
