Dyson Ball Multifloor 2 Upright Vacuum is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 258.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would Not Recommend Frustrating to use. The hose must be stretched out with one hand while the other hand uses the wand or it bends/collapses onto itself. Power cord must also be held up by hand or it tangles in the base while moving around. Wand is not easily replaced back on vacuum and takes multiple attempts to get it lined up just right. Machine falls over easily during wand use. Too many design flaws and feels cheaply made. Expected more from a Dyson.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Vaccum...worth its price I am writing this review after 6 month of use. This vacuum has real good suction power and gets the whole house much cleaner than any other previous vacuums I had. Just put your palm under the extendable hose and you will feel it. It works great on my ceramic tile floors where I let the brush rotate to sweep up any extra dirt. I have no problem using it on low pile carpets and the area rug. It maneuvers with ease in tight corners. The extendable hose is quite handy. It is very well built with high strength plastic. Overall highly impressed with this vacuum.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Clumsy and cheap parts Worst vacuum I have ever owned. It is cheap and parts have already broken off. It is heavy and hard to manage.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really sucks Works excellent on low knap carpets and bare floors. If you have plush carpet, you will get a workout vacuuming! Wife can't use it on plush carpet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing sucks! :D Wow! I didn't think I would ever enjoy vacuuming! I had a Bissell pet vacuum previously and the wand was virtually useless. The wand on the Dyson is fantastic! I mean, it really sucks! Love how well it works on hardwoods, too. It doesn't just kick the dirt and debris back at you. Still trying to figure out why the lady of Facebook was getting rid of it!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT Multifloor at ALL! CANNOT use on CARPET I bought this today! My first Dyson purchase ever as you know it is an investment! I have 3 pets. A large black lab and 2 cats. I went with multi floor as we have linoleum, hard wood and carpet. the rollers stop on the carpet and I CANNOT push it at all even with after I troubleshooted with rollers OFF! It is impossible to use on carpet and we have regular carpet??!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cleans carpet much better than my DC40, but has too much suction power TL;DR: best vacuum I've ever had for low-pile wall to wall carpeting, but too much brush and suction power work against you when cleaning hard floors and area rugs, and when using attachments. I purchased the Multi Floor 2 as an upgrade to my aging DC40. I really enjoyed the features and design of my DC40, but the carpet cleaning performance was never really that good. Seeing that one of the Multi Floor 2's biggest upgrades was that the brush motor was a lot more powerful, I decided to give it a go. I'm honestly extremely impressed with its carpet cleaning performance. The brush motor is very aggressive and has a noticeable upgrade in suction (which is exactly what my wall to wall carpets need) and it picks up significantly more dust than my DC40 did. Unfortunately, the extra brush and suction power isn't always great. It's harder to maneuver on my hard floors than my DC40, and it's so aggressive on my area rugs that it's almost working against me. Having some type of suction release or power mode switcher would've been really appreciated seeing as Dyson does it for their cordless vacuums. Pros: really great carpet cleaning performance; moderately lightweight; wider cleaner head makes cleaning faster; hose and wand are a great length and attachments are easy to use; the ball is very maneuverable; a bit quieter than my DC40; new yellow accents make it look sleeker than the contrasting red and yellow colors of older Dyson's Cons: build quality does not feel sturdy; no suction control makes cleaning hard floors, area rugs, and above floors somewhat difficult; emptying usually requires separating the cyclones from the bin which is more work than it should be; no headlight
