Rated 5 out of 5 by from My duraflame is somewhat different, yet the same I have a slightly different and older model of this heater. Ours has been moved and put in storage and I was worried it wouldnt work because it works so well. We have a old very large country home and the BGE bill for electric and oil bills are outrageous. So these little heaters are wonderful and look so nice in a room. Not so... We have a larger one in the Living room and a smaller one in the kitchen which is like the one on this page. The major difference I see is the remote which my model has. I am going to buy one of these for the bedroom...I have had no trouble with mine so far and its two years old going on its third season I believe. The room is set (remember I have oil base heat) at 68-70 and the room will go to 74 or higher if I have it at 1500 watts, So in the morning I set it higher and then lower it to 750 watts when I am home during the day and it keeps a 15x 18 foot room comfortable w/o the BGE bill going sky high. I would say between the LR heater in the evening and the kitchen heater I see an increase of about 25-30.00 running it all the time. One heater would be half that and two smaller ones would also be less. Its worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Powerful I have a 14X21 foot room and this really does the job. I leave the furnace on 64F and after this is on for 30 minutes the room reads 70F. Does NOT cause my BGE bill to sky rocket either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I could want It’s small so it fits in our entertainment center perfectly, and it gives off real heat. Not to mention it’s beautiful. Well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a great purchase So glad I purchased this little heater. My home office is quite chilly so this has just been wonderful. It heats up my small space very quickly and keeps me cozy & comfortable. It is very light weight so easy to move and runs quietly. Highly recommend it for areas in your home that don't ever seem to get warm enough no matter how high you turn up the thermostat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from COZY AND WARM This portable heater is perfect for small spaces and it really adds ambiance to a room and does warm the room up. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn't warm really hot. Even on the highest setting it does take a while for the room to warm. You really need to close the room off in order to feel the difference. I love how you have the option of just putting the flames on without the heater. SFP3
