Dennis Basso Luxe Crepe Peplum Jacket with Flounce Sleeves is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from De luxe = "of luxury" in French This is a beautifully made jacket. I picked it up on easy pay. I actually managed to score both colors and made myself drop the wine color because I am trying to behave in terms of spending AND I knew the black would be more useful. The cut of this jacket is the big selling point. It is tremendously flattering. I am 5'8.5" tall and short-waisted (longer legs and shorter torso). I usually take a 16, but sometimes a 14. I tend to order up a size and would rather be in a looser garment than a tighter garment 98% of the time (there might be an exception like my wedding gown, but those are few and far between). I ordered the 16 in this. It fits me like I was in to see Dennis personally for a fitting. Bravo to Q and to Dennis for this exceptional garment! How about an evergreen one? I'd buy navy in a blink.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the Sleeves! I sure loved the sleeves, but the size 4 looked too big on me. I am 5 feet 7 inches tall, 145 lbs, . I would have ordered a 2, but they were sold out. I am not sure I like the peplum hem, it looked very boxy from the back. I really like the rest of the jacket, but am curious if a 2 would have looked better. The black looked so cute on the model. I do have smaller shoulders then most people my size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy Mr. Basso you never disappoint. This jacket is gorgeous, fit is spot on, as is the fabric and styling. Looking forward to wearing it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too much for petite This is definitely a beautifully made jacket. But somehow on my 5'2" frame it just doesn't look good. Too much fabric, makes it look a bit boxy. I think on a taller person it will be perfect, just not for petites unfortunately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Most Flattering Jacket Ever This jacket is perfect. It looks shapely, sophisticated, and elegant. The shoulder pads, the flared sleeve, and the dropped peplem are so flattering I wanted to go back for the black but it was sold out. Please do this jacket again in more colors and different fabrics. I want more please. Knit, print and just the same.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Right for Me This is a beautifully made jacket, and the snaps are stellar. The black coat was gorgeous on the model in the on air presentation, so I picked it up. I purchased a size 18 W and it "fit". The placement of the shorter sleeves and flounce were not flattering on me. Somehow the coat is boxy and soft at the same time. Perhaps if it were shrunken a bit with slight flare from the elbow not floppy sleeves at the wrist and fit more streamline like a blazer, it would have been more upbeat. Disappointed. Sending back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Quality Jacket The burgundy jacket is absolutely gorgeous, love the fabric. The cut is generous - I ordered a size 4 (my normal size) - probably could have gone down to a 2, but will keep the 4 as there are no more 2's. Love, love, love the length and flirty little ruffle on the bottom - but looks totally professional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent tailoring Received in black size 12 which is my usual QVC size for coats. Very nice color with quality construction. It's a rich, dark, light-absorbing black. It is heavy and I can see where this would work as an overcoat. But it also looks nice as a suit blazer. Hot climates in the South will find this too heavy for much of the year. You will not really care though. It's a beautiful addition to any wardrobe. Would be flattering to most body types. I'm pear shaped and short. Covers a lot of flaws. I also have a problem with sleeves being too long and this sleeve length ends at my wrist bone. The shoulders, neck opening, snaps, seams, drape, and lining are just beautiful. The jacket I received is a little snug in the arms, but I think this enhances the silhouette. Highly recommended.
