Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, fashionable jacket This Dennis Basso portrait collar jacket is made exceptionally well and the tailored look is exquisite. I bought the black, white and red with the matching skirts to make the entire suit. I get many compliments and the size 12 is a perfect fit for my 5 foot 6 inch frame. It is a pleasure having and wearing Dennis Basso clothing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic jacket Very pleased with the classic look and styling of this jacket in true red. The collar and buttons make it pop. Sleeves are a tad too long for me in size 6, but not so much that it is a big problem, and after pricing what a tailor would charge to shorten them, have decided I wll wear it as is. I am pairing this with a Joan River's black lace pencil skirt and love the look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Please I ordered this jacket in black. Had a problem with how it arrived but Customer Service took immediate action and sent out a replacement. Also received the matching skirt in black. I still believe that in some instances, nothing beats a tailored black suit and heels. The fabric is heavy, therefore hangs/drapes beautifully. I own a similar suit in grey, purchased on sale at $575.00 about two years ago. At the time I thought it was a bargain. I ordered this in a size 8 in the skirt and 10 in the jacket. It is the first time ever, that I didn't have to have a suit altered. Love the fabric and the style is classic. Hope Mr. Basso continues to bring us classic separates that can magically become suits. As comfortable as leisure type clothing can be, it isn't always appropriate. So glad I didn't have to spend $500+ to look like I did.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but not for me Well made and very pretty, but much too heavy material for my taste. Sending back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeper! It's rare anymore that I can find a classy bit of clothing that will take me to a special occasion, so when I happen to see something, I have to try it out. This jacket immediately got my attention. I originally wanted the red, but it was not available in my size so I ordered the cream. It's lovely! The material has enough weight without being heavy on the body and the jacket follows the curves of the waist, etc. without being tight. I'm 5'7", 170 lbs. with a 38" bust. I ordered a size 12 and it fits perfectly buttoned up. No pulling at the buttons. The eye-catching part of this jacket, however, is the collar. It lies well, and is very flattering to the neck and collar bone. The buttons are carved/molded adding to the dressy style of this jacket. I plan to wear it with black sateen pants, and my little pearl necklace. The only reason for 4 stars - the jacket is lined, and I'm praying the lining does not 'droop' over time like some linings do! It also says it's machine washable, which makes me anxious! Otherwise, I love it! Can't imagine this jacket ever going out of style!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classy And Elegant!! I have this jacket in ivory. I would really consider it to be "winter white" since a true ivory has more yellow in it. I wore this lovely jacket yesterday to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. This is a classy and elegant jacket. It just begged for pearl earrings and a pearl necklace. My husband and I went to see Andre Rieu perform and I knew this would be the perfect jacket for such a special occasion. I did not wear any camisole nor shirt underneath. The neckline was modest and did not show cleavage (which is perfect for me). I hated to deduct one star but that was because it has some wrinkles. I did not want to take a chance and wash it before wearing it (I was thinking that it might get the wrinkles out). I'm hoping it washes well since it says "machine wash". I like the tonal buttons. What a nice touch! I like the texture of the caviar crepe. This was my first clothing purchase from Dennis (I have a faux fur coat by him). I look forward to purchasing more stunning pieces from QVC. I'm trying to be more diligent and only purchasing clothing that looks stunning and I just can't live without.
