Rated 3 out of 5 by from Operating System not Friendly to User With a 256G SSD as the primary drive the D drive should operate as the default data drive. It doesn't. The OS insists on writing to the C drive. Also be aware that Microsoft wants to save all to One Drive unless that is disabled

Rated 5 out of 5 by from XPS 8930 Review I'm pretty tech savvy and am comfortable building rigs for myself, however this has just been a hobby in the past. My family and career take precedence right now. Instead of building, I carefully picked out a computer that would give me the amount of performance I desired and at a price that I was willing to spend. I didn't pick the 8930. I didn't even choose a Dell. I found what I thought I wanted from another manufacturer, but with roughly the same specifications. In less than 6 hours I was having trouble (Bios, driver, update, recovery, ect), but by the time the sun came down things were looking grim...by 2am I decided that my situation was ridiculous and I was going to just exchange or return it the following day. I purchased the "other" pc at a department store and it turns out I had purchased the last one they had. They offered me the XPS 8930 as a replacement for the same price. ($100 difference). It was the best thing that could have happened. I am extremely pleased with the performance of the XPS 8930 and the optane memory really boosts the HDD performance better than I anticipated. I have already attached my old SSDs and added 16GB of RAM. Installation was extremely easy due to the design of the case and the accessibility to the motherboard. The power supply is attached to a swinging arm that moves out of the way to allow full access to the motherboard, it is great. This is an awesome computer and I'm so happy that I ended up with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dell XPS 8930 A good all around machine. Decent for light to medium gaming. Handles most daily tasks with ease. And if down the road you find yourself wanting more performance, It is fairly easy to upgrade with a bigger hard drive more memory, or a bigger graphics processor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm not a gamer... I got this computer for business because I use multiple programs at the same time to work from home. I also wanted to connect three monitors and that was super easy to do right out of the box. I loved how quick and easy the setup was. I would suggest that whatever browser you use that you create a username and password so all of your bookmarks and settings come to the new computer. I also had onedrive so all my photos are on the cloud and adding my information to the new PC was seamless. This computer is super snappy and I'm very please so far.
