Dell 17.3" Inspiron Laptop - Core i7, 8GB RAM,2TB HDD is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 678.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inspiron 5770 I bought this laptop for medium duty use. It gets the jobs done with the added Optane. The Core i3 8th Gen is like the old Core i5 or i7 back in the day, so don't worry about that too much for medium use in regards to speed. You'll be impressed! The only downturn is the graphics card. While the card is good for general use, it may not be able to handle SOME medium tasks with proper quality/performance ratio, but it gets the job done and it works. It may be lacking some updates with Direct X (Software that boosts visual quality etc) where it's concerned, as it's been only a week since acquiring this laptop, so I may be wrong where this is concerned (because any computer you buy you may have to update these items to boost optimum performance). If you just wanna watch movies or any of that it's a great choice! I thought about switching it out for my purposes but changed my mind because overall performance is definitely satisfactory. Don't be afraid to try it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from There is nothing like a DELL I've had many other machines but they all had some annoying things about them. I have a 6 year old DELL XP tower that still runs like a clock and now I have a new 17" Experion - LOVE them both! I absolutely recommend a DELL machine for reliability and service second to none.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Running very slow I can not seem to resolve the issue of this computer running slow. I have never had a computer run this slow before and I am unsure how to resolve this issue. I will return to my previous laptop if things do not improve.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice overall Like the laptop overall, but hate windows 10. If I could still buy one with 7 on it I would. Only issue with the laptop I have thus far is a faint beeping/chime at irregular intervals when I am using it. Shut off notifications on widows 10 (first thing I did) but it still happens and is very annoying. Cant figure out if comes from the laptop itself or from windows

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I depend onDell My wife and I currently have 5 computers used for various things. 4 of the 5 are Dell Computers. My newest computer a 5770 is nearly a twin to one of the other laptops. This one just has newer programs. I have had immense success with my Dell computers. I'm a retired School Superintendent and through the years a majority of the computers used at the schools where I worked were Dell Computers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Laptop for Home Use Ideal for Home/Office applications. Fast start-up with the 128Gb SSD C:\ drive and plenty of data storage on the 1Tb HDD. Nice bright HD screen with good colour rendition. Having moved from a Windows 7 laptop to Windows 10, I'm still getting used to the new OS but nothing has been insurmountable so far (with a fair bit of help from Google!). Also pleasantly surprised that all my old legacy software (MS Office 2002 etc.) still works with Win 10.
