Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inspiron 5770 I bought the 17inch and its working really well. A very solid laptop that is not ultra thick, but does not look like the lid will break off when you pick it up like some other brands

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dell Laptop After I threw the last dell I bought into the wall just a day after buying it for being so slow, I thought I'd never try a dell again. Glad I did.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from review I love this computer. It was everything I wanted. There are 2 drawbacks for me that I can point out. One, the batter life doesn't last very long even on this new computer, I'm lucky to get 4 hours. Two, the speakers are on the bottom. I don't know why this was started because it distorts the sound when sitting on the speakers. Dell used to make them on top of the keyboard and the sound system was much better. That one thing really disappoints me about computers now. Other than those two things, this is great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It lacks the drivers to load programs that are older, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Slowest computer I have ever had. It takes about five minutes to load anything. Basically working on this computer is like struggling with my old IBM desktop PC from the 1980s. Click on the program you want, go make coffee, come back and if you are lucky the program has started.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New purchase Inspiron 17 5000 series model 5770 Love the big screen...think it is 17.2...and the fingerprint sign on...that is the best....had a few troubles in transferring files and programs....and then more trouble locating them on the new computer...but it is coming together slowly..some Excel files that I transferred forgot their formulas and I had to re-establish same....I also don't seem to recognize where to go to see my programs .....but I am sure it will appear as I get smarter..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dell Laptop I am finding my new laptop amazingly fast. The graphics are sharp and clear. Some of the software is annoying and trying to find programs that almost all computers have is a challenge. The people that program them do it as if everyone is a programmer. Dell could do a better job of asking their Home computer users what they really need as far as software and how files and such can be found and used.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from l evidently got some adware with my new laptop. And finally seem to have gotten rid of it. Other than that it was a good start.
