Dell 15.6" G3 15 3579 Laptop - Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 1TB HD is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 247.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good product! Very high performance, beautiful design, nice plastic. - Quite loud noise of coolers, strong heating of the power supply in games, the screen brightness is not enough.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heat and Open It heats quickly especially between the keyboard and the screen causing it to be unaccepted to be touched and the fan is always working so high although I haven't opened any program or any application "nothing is opened". Although its the second time I opened it and it hanged while opening and I was forced to restart

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth, Well Built, Great Performance Great laptop, well-built. Comfortable keyboard and touchpad. Good Display. Provides decent fps in demanding games and remarkably silent when not gaming. Becomes noticeably loud while gaming but well within expectations. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gaming entry laptop I have been shocked by surprise when found out what actually is capable this machine. It is equipped with proper hardware. About bad points, it is a good heat source when plugged in and used its resources at good, but the fans are doing their job. Sometimes found them turning on even when I'm on battery saving, where cooling mode is passive. (But at least I know it keeps safe from melting down.) I don't know what to react for its battery... it is built in, which brings cons and pros with itself, it is working for 8 hours if just doing easy tasks on the browser with brightness on minimum. I love the multitouch touchpad, makes my life easier. The keyboard is quiet, which is lovely. Although of that it feels good and react perfect. I found reviews about the screen that it is not the best quality, but I see a good difference compared to a HD screen, I'm happy with it. In the and of the day, I hope it will serve me for long with no or just some minor problems.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Acceptable compromises for my budget Bought as a student after my previous laptop failed. Was attracted by the specs for the price and normal-looking chassis. Read some reviews complaining about dull display, but I have no problem with it. I don't like screens to burn into my eyes anyway. The trackpad has a cheap feel and jiggles, but I just use a mouse. Keyboard is pretty average, no worse than my previous computer, so I'm not picky. I would say the biggest drawback is the size of the SSD. I got the version with 128GB, and it pretty much only has room for being a boot drive and holding the OS. Pretty much everything else must be mapped to the HDD, which is not a problem for me, but it meant manually moving default saving and download locations. TLDR: Good specs for the $$. Get bigger SSD version.
