Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece Of CRAP & OVERPRICED This AC unit was advertised as no draining required while after only having the unit on 60 minutes guess what it started to beep it needed me to drain it!! So I drained it and guess what (see previous sentence). For the price I paid for this AC this should not have happened. I really liked Delonghi products now...not so much!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great concept, but..... …..I came home from work to find my unit completely dead. Power cord light showing green, but nothing. That said, as my review title states, its a great concept. Except for a few things: I had a lot of trouble with my hose coming out, both behind the unit, and at the window connection. Applied Gorilla tape to both, and still had problems with the window connection coming loose. Another thing, when watching the presentation I understood that draining the unit wasn't really going to be required. WRONG. I had to drain this thing constantly or it would start making a "tinny" rattling noise. Very difficult to maneuver around for draining. Even when set up on something, you have to tilt it back to get all of the water out. It is noisy, as some have stated, but it really didn't bother me unless I was on the phone. I reached out to Delonghi and they are supposed to be sending me a REFURBISHED replacement. Really ?? I am going to be getting someone else's previous unit -- I suppose someone else will get mine after it goes back. Really not acceptable in my opinion. I tried this, and it failed, so will just save my money for Central AC next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks nice but BAD service Had this unit one day and it worked. Then when the compressor cycled on the unit turned off. Service reps. were very nice, made me send them my receipt three (3) times before they could authorize a replacement. Two weeks later I had a FedEx number but NO return shipping label. Seven phone calls later and no shipping label I returned the unit to QVC. THANKS, QVC, You are great, not Delonghi.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Air conditioner system overload? Does the air conditioning system Shake and quiver When the compressor shuts off? After the compressor turns off the fan will turn to the lowest speed that I did not set for about two minutes until the fan blows at regular speed that I Set. Notice the compressor start to slowly lose speed when it is first turned on until it reaches the point where the compressor shuts off before it reaches the determined temperature. Also for some reason when the compressor turns on electricity will do a brownout Meaning it will shut off All of my electronics plugged in my room and my Roommates bedroom next to me.Even when there are no other electronic devices Or gadgets running with electricity In both of our rooms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does as advertised I bought my unit about 6 weeks ago. The installation was a little trying, but doable. My unit keeps my room cool with no leaks and no odor. It is no louder than any window ac I have ever used. I live in the deep south, use the unit every night on low speed and have turned the temperature up on the unit because I was getting cold. I am pleased with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love The Product...but... The unit works great. It cools my livingroom in no time. It is kind of noisy, but not as bad as my previous unit. I love the fact that there is no emptying of water. My only complaint is the packaging of it. My unit came with an ugly crack on the top, it does not affect the functionality of the unit, but it is very noticeable. Also, the bottom seam where the two sides meet are not lining up properly. The box was pretty damaged, not sure if this happened during delivery or not. I contacted QVC because I did not want to deal with repacking and returning it. QVC did give me a SMALL compensation for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Air conditioner I have had this air conditioner 3 years and it did leak all the time when it was running. I decided to clean the air filter weekly and it no longer leaks water. I still keep a tray under it for some leakage. It has a plug in back of unit for drainage. The humidifier works great! It keeps my whole house cool being centrally located in my house (open concept)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not sure it was the best purchase decision Be aware that wherever you place this in your room'house that it can not be moved far at all. The hose is only four feet, so once you place it near the window or wherever you will exhaust the air, you cannot move it further into the center of the room. It is not advised to buy a longer hose because the machine is engineered as such to work with the hose length that comes with it. It is NOT eay to screw on the attachments to each end of the hose at all! In fact, it was very very aggravating. One end was fine, but nothing would screw on to the other end, so I had to device my own system to exhaust the air without the attachment and window kit. With that being said, the unit does cool down this large open space, although not as cold as my old window unit did. I have no complaints about the operation of it at all. I had to get something I could take care of myself due to not having anyone to install a window unit here. This is an expensive machine, so just be sure to read the reviews. Also, they are sending me another hose to see if that one allows me to screw the attachments on to it.
