Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great size This grill is ideal for loading up to take to a tailgate or for a small balcony or patio. It is a clean, easy to use option for all our grilling favorites - no messy coals requiring disposal etc. It is made well and the only possible downside is assembly. With that said, the little bit of extra time to assemble correctly has meant a portable, easy to use grill that is solid and works perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Personal-Sized Grill My charcoal Webber grill is on its last legs, and I've been wanting to have a faster, more instantaneous grilling option. Enter the Searin' Sphere. After a straightforward assembly (one Phillips head screwdriver needed), I fired it up and got down to fajitas with grilled peppers and onions. The pros: seems pretty sturdy, capable of getting nice and hot (easily charred the outside of my peppers and left good crispy bits on the fajitas), and lightweight. The cons: it is pretty clearly designed for a single person's amount of food (though with a gas grill, doing food in waves is much, much easier), the sphere is a nice look but it takes up a fair bit of space (orbs are difficult shapes to pack stuff around in cars), and the handle of the lid will start to get uncomfortably hot after a while. All in all, it's a nice little grill for whipping up a quick side dish of grilled veggies or meal for one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for small patios! I love this grill as an extra option! I already own a larger charcoal grill, so it seemed silly to get a full-sized gas grill as well. We don't really have the room on our patio for two large grills plus table and chairs. The biggest setback for only having a charcoal grill is you can't really spontaneously grill anything because it takes a while to get the fire going. This grill is perfect for spontaneous! On a random Sunday afternoon, we decided we wanted some burgers. Ordinarily, we'd just cook them in a pan on the stove, but we were excited to see how easy it was to use our compact little propane grill. We felt confident setting it on the table in our backyard patio because it is so small. It heated quickly with plenty of room for the 2 burger patties and 4 brats we were grilling. We could have easily added another burger or two to the grill. Cleanup was relatively easy, and the grill plate is dishwasher safe--even better for spontaneous grill nights in the summer! Note: the propane does not come with the grill, but they are easy to find. We got ours in the grill section of our local grocery store. Home improvement and big box stores also usually sell them. On a more critical note, the assembly took a bit longer than expected--about 30 minutes. Also, I wish there was a grease dripping plate at the bottom. That would have made clean up even easier! I think I'm going to add some aluminum foil next time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review for the compact Cuisinart Searin Portable G Fired up the Cuisinart Searin Portable Gas Grill yesterday to cook hamburgs at a picnic on a friends screen porch. Had plenty of heat and cooked the burgers very quickly. Also liked that it's so portable that I was able to fit it in the small trunk in my BMW Z4.. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unique looking grill Assembly of the grill was ok, the fuel regulator doesn't seem stable/secure. There doesn't seem to be a medium heat, it's either low or high. Food cooked quickly but turned out just fine. The size is great and the sphere makes for an interesting grill. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grilling! Cool Shape! Easy to Use! Wow! This grill is pretty great! Let me tell you why... ASSEMBLY: -When I opened the box I saw a lot of parts so I was concerned the assembly would be a challenge. I consider myself fairly handy so I found the assembly simple to do with the provided instructions and was not time consuming. It took me about 20 minutes total time. SIZE/SHAPE: -This grill has a round shape. It is small enough for easy portability (especially with the handle on the side for easy carrying), but it still maintains a large enough grill space for my family. We had 4 hamburgers and 4 hot dogs going at once. -The lid is very simple to open and close. -The only minor complaint is being round it would be difficult to stack anything on top of it, but that is such a minor thing. The round shape has so many benefits that outweigh this. USE: -The grate is a great size. There is adequate much space between the rows for even grilling, but not too much so there are no worries about hot dogs or other food falling through. -Cleaning is very simple to do. A simple removal of the grate and a quick wipe down of the inside is all it takes. The grate is actually dishwasher safe although I happened to wash mine by hand in the sink. -This grill is inexpensive to use so I will probably find myself using it more often than I even imagined. -The push button ignition system is very easy to use. Our family camps out, goes for picnics at the park or beach, and goes tailgating frequently so I believe we will use this grill quite often. We live in a home with a large porch, but I can see it being a fantastic grill for someone in an apartment or with limited outside space. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
