Quality
I gave it 2 stars because the quality is poor and not what I expect from Cuisinart. Vert "tinny", the dial is loos so its dufficult to determine what number it is set at. I returned it after one use. I exchanged it for another, thinking I got a defective toaster. The second one is just as bad and I will be returning it and getting a different brand. Very disappointing. Sad

Toaster Settings
I eat a bagel every morning before my workout- i was not aware and was pleasantly surprised with the defrost and bagel setting - my frozen bagel is perfectly toasted each time!

Great toaster, but burns quickly
Great toaster, only downside is that it burns the bread before it toasts the whole piece of bread/bagel/English muffin no matter the setting.

Looking for a great toaster.
I had a very old toaster that finally died. Over the years, I've tried several new ones, to no avail. They never toasted correctly. However, I cannot say enough good for this Cuisinart. It works perfectly for all kinds of breads, especially bagels.

Easy to clean
The toaster is well made and accommodates bread slices, thick and thin, and bagels. It works great for warming with the various levels of toasting.
