Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use The booklet contained simple recipes and good illustrations. My favorite recipe is the fresh strawberry ice cream. It was so delicious and clean up was easy. I am also making sorbets and other ice cream recipes that I have found on the Internet. It only took about 15 minutes to make ice cream. I put the bowl in our freezer for at least 15 hours before using. We live in FL so strawberries are available at reasonable prices most of the year. This is an easy appliance to use and fun too and so much better with ingredients that you put in your recipe. There are plenty of recipes included in the booklet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont bother I was so excited to try this ice cream maker. We put in freezer for 2 days. Refrigerated ingredients as per recipe. Nothing. Didn't freeze at all. Gave it extra time, just nothing. It was cold, but nothing else. Ugh. Ended up throwing ingredients in a plastic zip and then in another zip lock with salt and ice so we didnt waste it. Returning for sure.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hardly any fruit recipes included. When watching the segment on this on QVC I felt they made it sound like there were a lot of different fruit recipes included. There were only a few listed in the book that it came with. I was so disappointed I returned it. I did not feel it was worth the money they charged.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Hit I made butter pecan from Cuisinart’s website. It was delicious. It came more like a soft serve but it was still good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective or Deceptive I have heard nothing but rave reviews for this product but have fought and failed all evening. Ordered as a surprise for my husband, 4 hours later, we still have liquid churning on the counter...until I pulled the plug. We followed all instructions, and nothing. We thought we rushed things so we started over...nothing but a sticky kitchen. As it is now midnight, I just stuck the freezer bowl and liquid in the freezer until tomorrow—I have never returned a product so this will be my first. There is a motor-ish smell, so I am wondering if the motor is defective. My husband says it just smells new. Either way, the base is warm, smells of motor, the freezer bowl is frozen, and the ice cream mixture is still liquid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Order Don't order this ice cream maker. I placed an order and tried to cancel it 15-20 minutes after placing the order. I tried online, on the phone automated system and by phone speaking to an customer service rep. I could not cancel the order. I refused delivery of the item yesterday.. I will probably be charged the original shipping and handling and the return shipping and handling.. For a cost of around $15, I have nothing.. The customer service rep told me the item was already in the process of shipping.. I do not believe that - 15 minutes after order placed and it's in the process of being shipped... I do not believe that for one minute.
