Rated 5 out of 5 by It's Amazing This is the best little oven I've ever used. I can take tortillas out of the freezer and steam them for 5 minutes, and it's just as good as the best restaurant tortillas, whether it's flour, or corn, or whole grain. And it's so much healthier than microwaves. The only thing it can't do is bake a turkey, since it isn't that big inside. But it could do a turkey breast. And it seems that it does everything else, too. The bread function proofs, then bakes. It bakes at up to 450 degrees, and broils at up to 500. And the seal on the door is very good, as you would expect for a steamer, so it doesn't let a lot of heat escape when it's running. And the toasting function is so good, I don't even need to use extra counter space for a regular toaster. The digital controls are accurate and easy to use. Dials on a toaster oven make it hard to guess how long the toaster is set to toast the bread, and I could never get it set exactly the same every time. But with this one I can. It has 7 automatic settings, each one with a count-down timer that shows minutes and seconds. 1 is lightest, 7 is darkest, 4 is medium. I get perfect toast, even on both sides, no matter what type of bread, or whether it was fresh or frozen. And once I know which number to use for each kind of bread, I can write it down on a recipe card and use the same number every time. Yesterday I had really good sprouted-wheat toast, then later steamed veg, then a steamed corn tortilla and a steamed multi-grain tortilla. Last night I heated pita bread, too. Today so far, more perfect toast for breakfast. It's easy to use it at least 2 or 3 times a day. I still cook some things like my potatoes yesterday in my Cook's Essentials Pressure cooker, being as it's so fast, and so good when I use the Cook's Essentials silicone inserts for steaming potatoes or veg, and for rice. But even though I have two of those pressure cookers, I also know that if I ever can't use a pressure cooker for steaming potatoes or veg, like when I'm doing rice in one pressure cooker, and beans or lentils in the other, I can do potatoes and veg in this oven with one of the steam settings. 08-24-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful Wedding gift I can only give a review of packaging and overall appearance. Unfortunately my home flooded in Louisiana before I could actually use my wedding gift. I was looking forward to the steam option for fish. I will purchase another one to replace it once I have a home for it. The picture is actually after it had been covered with flood water! 08-23-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Why did I wait so long Had been thinking about purchasing one of these for a long time, since I live alone and it's not worth the trouble to cook with full size oven when making a single dish or smaller portions. This is perfect and easy to use. I like the steam function when cooking, something I was not doing prior to this purchase. I normally don't write reviews, but I feel this item deserves it. 08-09-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely Incredible As a former Home Economics teacher, I have a good idea of the usefulness of appliances. This oven is my all time favorite. It does everything- baking pies, steam baking trout, reheating pizza( like fresh), anything! The reviews submitted had not read and followed completely the instructions.I have to admit that I missed the drip tray under the door, but so easy to clean. We purchased one for our Florida home, came North for the summer and purchased one for here, and when they went on clearance, got an extra. Can't imagine a day without it. A must have!!! 08-03-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cooks great, but The oven cooks well but not sure the steam clean is worth it. Doesn't clean that we'll and takes a long time to clean up the water left inside. Leaves the inside sides sticky. 05-27-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by SAD I'm not happy with this product,I can't believe its a Cuisinart. I have 4 different times to work the steamer but it keeps leaking all over my counter. I asure you I have follow the instructions 05-05-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Small Oven This oven is special because of the steam cleaning option. If you cook in a small oven, cleaning them is the worst chore. The steam option makes clean up a snap. Choose this oven if you want a convection oven that cooks with steam and cleans with steam- unique / 5 stars. 04-23-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed The oven baked well, but, I do not want steam on everything, the food is first wet and the oven is streamed up, then the food is baked, not good at all, Convection bake turns the steam off, but, you can't remove the reservoir to bake, it will beep until you replace it. Too much work, I am getting a real counter oven, lesson learned. 04-04-16
