Rated 3 out of 5 by from ❤️ THE LAMB & CAT; PLAIN NOT SO MUCH+SEWING LOOSE I bought two sets, with the DARLING lamb and the PRETTY cat. The ANIMALS are BEAUTIFUL! THE LAMB IS MY FAVORITE HOWEVER THE PINK NOSES ARE BARELY STITCHED ON, LITERALLY LOOSELY HANGING BY ONE AND TWO THREADS, with a tiny hole in one needing mending on the pink nose part where the fleece is exposed, and white elastic thread poking out of the middle of the other! BUT ADORABLE ENOUGH TO MAKE ME HAND SEW IT BACK TOGETHER. BOTH NOSES NEED SECURING! I would sadly never recommend this as a gift or to bill to ship to as gifts for this reason. The cat has no detached parts or sewing issues. The animals are PRECIOUS!! The PLAIN Navy and Pink are disappointing! The Navy in particular has the white fleece conspicuously showing through throughout the sock in a most unattractive way, in different sizes in the stretch of the sock. The Pink pair’s fleece is not noticeable because of the lighter color and much prettier. I wear an 8M shoe size which is relatively average I would imagine. The fit is fine but the knitted cover is made separately about 95% detached from the fleece lining; almost completely loose, so it requires some time adjusting and straightening the inside and outside layers in place. Once you get them adjusted all together in place they are soft and cozy and fit nicely on my foot. I really think this set should have and needs to be a SET OF TWO ANIMALS, but regardless, they need to be more securely made and constructed so you can slip them on normally and have them in place without so much effort to align the loose knitted heels and ankles etc. THE PLAIN socks are a LETDOWN in comparison, coming from one that usually doesn’t complain about price if I really love something. The CHARM and Appeal of the appearance is ALL ABOUT the ANIMALS ALONE. In any event, the quality of the craftsmanship and construction needs to be excellent at any price, but especially for what you are charging with shipping and tax, and to be worthy of gift giving. I would like to see these DARLING SLIPPER SOCKS RETURN, reconstructed where the outside is not so loose from the inside, so TOGETHER they can conform to your foot more like an attached lined mitten or glove. You need to have the fleece colors match the outside, so it does not look so incredibly tacky, and make sets of either ALL ANIMALS or all cable knit, or both, priced accordingly. I am leaving 3 STARS because I would really like to se them BACK AND BETTER! I am faced with the dilemma of either hand sewing and mending both of the Lamb socks I love with two different colors of threads, while forced to keep the Navy I do not like on, or return them as defective. I will definitely Keep the cat set. Lastly, even the cuff is difficult to adjust in place to look nice and not expose the inside seam and otherwise sloppy. Please QVC Quality Control and Cuddle Duds; DO NOT PRESENT INFERIORLY MADE Items; especially during Holiday Time when people are extremely busy and NEED reliable quality as well as adorable gifts! These slipper socks have great potential but QUALITY IS WHAT THE “Q” stands for.
