Cougar Waterproof Lace-Up Tall Shaft Snow Boots - Canuck is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Winter Boots I've Been Searching For! I am beyond THRILLED with these boots! Based upon other reviews, I expected to return them. NO WAY!!!! They easily glide on and off whether I am barefooted or wearing socks. I tried these on with yoga pants and the calf diameter was PERFECT! Yes the circumference isn't huge, but I don't want a lot of open space so that snow can blow into the interior. I would buy another pair in an in an alternate color right now, but I will have to wait until they go on sale. I would say that I have average size calves and that my feet run on the wider size. My old boots are in the donation pile now that I own these EXTREMELY comfortable and attractive winter boots! My shoe size is an 8.5 medium. I purchased a size 9.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots ! When I first saw these boots I recognized the maple leaf, & knew they were from Canada. I wear a 71/2 medium, so purchased the 8. They are a little wide for me so wear them with a thicker sock. They are a beautiful boot, I got the taupe & just love them. Colorado can get cold & deep snow also. I have long legs, the boot shaft comes 1/2 inch below my knee, just perfect. They do not slip down, which is one more plus.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Could not get them on My foot wouldn't make the turn of the shaft to the foot bed. I bought an 11 which is a size bigger then my normal size. I will stick to my dairy boots for outdoor chores.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Look cheap I didn't even take the stuffing out of them to try them on. I just didn't think they looked any where near worth $150. Sadly returned and bought a pair of tall, with a wedge, water proof from Sporto (from HSN) for half the price, which are really cutee.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the same sizing as my other Cougars I own a pair of the Cougar Waterproof Creek boots and I love them. These feel much smaller. Also, these are very hard to put on. There is no zipper and the laces are just for looks- they do nothing to adjust the boots. It’s a shame because they are really cute.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Boots not for me I like the look of the black boots. The quality seems good, but they are hard to get on. They have no zipper, just pull on. Tight on my calf, which measures 16 1/2. I ordered size 7. The fit was okay 1 wear 6 1/2 - 7. I like a bit more room for my boots. They hurt the ball of my foot when I walk, So I will be returning them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great looking boot, but circumference is a problem Got my new boots, couldn't wait to try them on. They are cute and I love the look. Unfortunately they are hard to get on, and the circumference is a big problem. The circumference is stated as 17 1/2 inches which is true but this measurement was taken around the outside of the boot. I first tried these on with skinny jeans, they were extremely tight around my calf. I measured my calf, it is 15 inches at the widest area. I have a very normal leg, if I had on leggings or a skirt they would be comfortable. I don't think I'll be out in the snow in a skirt or leggings. Don't buy these unless you have no calf muscle definition and/or perhaps you have skinny stick legs, lucky you! Measure your calf 14 inches or less will work, I'm so disappointed the outside circumference is stated, that's not going to help anyone.
