Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not climbing Bought this plant in the summer of 2017 and couldn’t wait for it to start climbing. It was very small the first year so I didn’t expect much. This summer though we had to cut off all the dead branches cause nothing would bloom on it. Now I have blooms but they don’t look anything like the picture here, the blooms don’t last but a couple of days before they fall off. And it is not climbing up the trellis, which is the main reason I chose this plant! My plant is just growing like a normal rose bush with its branches sticking out everywhere! I love roses but I am very disappointed in this “climbing” rose bush! At least it was hardy and survived the shipment and the winter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Arrived wilted and never recovered Rose arrived wilted, watered and trimmed dead leaves. It never recovered. Really disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seriously This rose is a weakling! I saw the Pinata climber for $7.99 on the rack in front of K-Mart. The K-Mart roses had big, strong canes, and an apparently solid root bundle. The Cottage Farm rose DOES NOT!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Already dying!!!! I pre-ordered this early on yet received plants ordered after that before I received this one. I will never pre-order again. The first one that arrived was completely dead...black and all dead leaves and stems. They sent a replacement that was barely alive on arrival. I planted it and it has already begun to die. All the other live plants I ordered from cottage farms have already died or are well on their way to dying so I will not order any more live plants from them as they do not ship them correctly and choose to ship them so the plants are in a hot mail truck for far too many days which is why the plants die. Live plants should not be in the mail more than 3 days tops. I am an experienced gardener so I know they do not die because of any thing I have done to them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have to tell the good, not just the complaints This particular order came well boxed, well taped, well tied off per the plastic bag holding the soil, but alas it is a rose not a plant plug and roses are tough. Rose had leaves, well dehydrated and dry due to long shipping period. Was not rooted in pot, was placed in pot b4 shipping and was planted immediately and watered-in. Now I wait but expect good things. Bought (3) for wood fence. Packing, shipping and handling is the first key to success. This order came ok.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good plant " I was so disappointed, if you look at the photo of how it is supposed to look (shipped as shown) it is not. It is one of the smallest plants, few leaves...hardly what you would call a plant. It had broken stems and most of the leaves were yellow. Very disappointed with this plant. I'm going to wait a few months, to see if it bounces back. If I could have given 0 stars I would have.
