Cottage Farms 3-pc Tropical Paradise Hardy Hibiscus 1.9 5 78 78
Terrible When received one was already dead---a little shriveled stick with one dead leaf. Within a week another has died and the third one is looking terrible. I put each of the tiny plants into separate pots to allow them to grow before planting them in my flower bed. I have contacted Cottage Farms and have heard nothing back. I am annoyed with the price and what was received...... 05-12-14
It Sounded Like a Great Idea All 3 plants died within 1 month of receiving them and we had great weather in California and I babied them so they would look nice in my yard. Think twice before purchasing. My 1st bad purchase from QVC in all the years I have shopped here. 05-11-14
very disappointed very disappointed with the size of these plants. not even close to the size advertised.. they look like little seedlings. I could have bought larger and healthier plants at my local nursery. I have bought cottage farms before but this is it. not happy at all with the appearance of these plants. no more cottage farms for me 05-10-14
Not doing well Only one out of 3 came with leaves. Other 2 look like sticks. I planted them but no growth at all. Probably need to get refund! 05-10-14
Refund Like others I received practically dead sticks with no leaves. Over the past few weeks they continue to die and so now I'm, considering returing these instead of making the investment to permanently plant. 05-09-14
Bad batch Clearly you guys had a bad batch because my situation is the same as all the others within the recent weeks. My plants have turned into a brown withered stem. I have a front bed full of items purchased via QVC that went perfect so I didn't think twice-but this has been a horrible experience. To see that so many of us in this same timeframe have had bad experience, it would be interesting to see what the company feels compelled to do. 05-09-14
Little but growing fast! Like other reviewers, I received small plants with little or no leaves. I soaked them in a bucket of water overnight, and I planted them the next day. Within a few days, I could see green leaves poking through the soil. Now they are about a foot tall in a couple weeks despite drought and unseasonably warm temps. I'm very happy with the plants and the price from Cottage Farms. My local nursery had hardy hibiscus, but they were a lot more expensive than these. While they were received small and dormant, they are growing quite rapidly in horrible clay soil. I recommend them. Just be patient. I may take more than one growing season to reach the size of those shown on air. Once they get roots set, they will perform unlike any other flower, annual or perennial. 05-09-14
Georgeous I have had my plants for three years now. I planted them in my flower beds and they come back each year to produce beautiful 10" in diameter blooms in large numbers. The plum fantasy spreads the widest and gives the most blooms. Wanted to order for Mother's Day for my mom but waited too late. 05-08-14
HARDY? Out of the three I received only one is growing. The other two would get leaves which would curl and turn black. Right now all that's left is a brown stem of those two. Only have one that seems to be living. Put the other two in pots to see if I could save them but it doesn't look good. 05-06-14
Dissappointed I was so excited to get these plants and when they arrived they looked very healthy. I followed the directions to the letter. I went out and bought large pots that would accommodate their size and watered them and put them in full sun light just to watch them wither away to stubs. I even bought the nourishment that was recommended for them. I will never buy from them again. 05-05-14
