Rated 5 out of 5 by Best thing I would recommend the air fry to any one. It's fast and the food comes out just the way you like. You can cook any thing in it. 09-14-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Impressed!! (So far) I've been a foodservice manager for over 30 years, so I can usually get an idea of what is "junk" right out of the box. I've had this oven for three days, and this is what I've done so far....I started with a 4 1/2 pound chicken: I put it on the rotisserie, set the timer and waited. The outside turned out perfect. I did, however, have to finish it in the regular oven for about ten minutes, because it was only temping around 140 degrees. Then, pork loin: It was the best pork I have ever made! (and I've made a lot over the years!) Last night, meatloaf: My wife always loves my meatloaf, but she said this was the best she has ever had. So far so good! Tex 09-12-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by What Is The Need For This appliance The food basket is hard to clean, continuously having to recook foods. Were do we put the small amount of oil. Its a very large Appliance so if you don't have counter space you Do not need this item. This appliance is nothing what I thought it was, don't need it 09-09-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by DEAD ON ARRIVAL Received the air fryer and plugged it in. The digital screen came on and I followed the directions to cook some fried chicken. After 25 minutes I checked the progress and the chicken was still cold. After checking it I realized neither the cooking element or the fan was working. They were dead right out of the box. I'm wondering if I should have listened to some of the other reviews when they said there were so many problems with them 09-05-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unique appliance Though the air fryer is a recent invention, the countertop convection oven has been around for a long time. In recent months, I have had 4. Two of them were 10 qt or greater. The first one I bought was round in shape with a rectangular section on the back that supported the lid in the upright position. It was fairly large on my counter. After using it for a week or so, i returned it mostly because of the size. Then I bought this baby. It has a nice squarish style. Most of my round and square pans fit in it. I've used stoneware and metal pans. They all work well in it. I can bake in it, and I can bake in a pan in it. The function buttons are easy to understand. I still have a lot of experimenting to do with this thing, but it makes me happy, so it will be fun. It seems to be well made and right now works perfectly. It's easy to clean and can store all the accessories inside the inner pot. Because of the square design, it's narrower than the first one I bought. I would recommend this machine to anyone, but especially to families of 4 to 6. I like having two air fryers to cover two dishes for dinner. I have the Cooks Essentials 3.5 qt, and now the Cooks Essentials 12 qt. You can find recipes for air fryers and turbo convection ovens on youtube or pinterest. More and more books are being dedicated to air fryers. I would recommend this model above all the air fryers I have tried (4). One thing to keep in mind about the lid. It is too tall to fit under a standard upper cupboard. Mine resides on the front edge of my counter, sideways. I can raise the lid and lock it in the upright position without a problem. When not in use, I can turn the machine and move it to the back of the counter. 09-01-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by finally found my fryer this is so easy to use i love cooking especially for the family and my wife likes healthier stuff i got the rotisserie basket that fits my jr chicken so easy to clean i love it ! 08-23-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great air fryer! I have bought 3 different air fryers by different companies. I love this one the most with the versatility. I love the basket because the food fries better and crunchier. The others seemed like the bottom of my foods were moist from in pan. I have made a chicken and it needed to cook a little more than it is programmed for. So glad I bought it. Gave one of my others away. 08-17-16
