Rated 5 out of 5 by from Presses I have purchased presses from QVC before. These items are really quite time saving. I use these for breakfast, of course. We don’t like our bacon crispy (that takes away the flavor). I also use these for burgers, steaks, and chicken or fish. They are not only handy on the stovetop, but the oven as well. The meats will preserve their flat shape rather than curling up and cooking unevenly. In order to help those of you who have read previous reviews, you need only pick the weight up by the handle with a tong and have a double folded paper towel to place the weight upon as you flip your meat. The presses also save time. I have never used high heat and the meats seem to cook much quicker. Also, I give my presses a quick swipe with a paper towel that has a smidge of Crisco to avoid sticking. When my meat is at the doneness I prefer, I take it directly to the sink and wash it while it’s still warm. These are also great for veggies like asparagus when you are roasting in the oven. Try these. You will be most happy with the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from glad I bought them These are so handy. I have been using them on the grill a lot. About the handles....easy remedy...I insert a fork into the handle to lift it . No problem...holds it well as I move them from the meat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs to be modified They work well except the opening for the handle is not large enough. Of coarse they get very hot so you need a pot holder to lilt them & the pot holder gets soaked with grease.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love presses. I have one in tempered glass that I use constantly so went ahead & ordered these at this good price. I highly recommend presses except that these new ones don’t have a handle that keeps cool like my older one. I’ll keep them & will see how I can use the smaller ones. My older one is a perfect size for almost anything except searing in a large pan; might be able to use them at the same time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product The only issue I have is that the handles get hot. With them being small it is difficult to get a hot pad on them and like with bacon the fat that has splattered on the top of the press is now on the hot pad. A taller silicone grip would have made them a 5 star. The bacon turned out flat and crispy and not all curled up - yum!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They Work--No more Sogginess No more soggy sandwiches. Great sizes, very useful in the kitchen, especially when cooking one sandwich or one steak using one of the small presses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient size and weight These chef presses are wonderful! I've had them about ten days and have already used them four times. I love how flat they are when stacked together in the cabinet. Easy to put a pan on top of them so they virtually take no space. The small handle is just large enough to be able to pick them up with a hot pad when they're hot. Bacon turned out perfectly crispy.
