Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless even on clearance So many reasons to just say NO!! 1. They don't stick. 2. Directions are easily lost and basically nonexistent. Unless a commenter here said to put the "prickly side on the outside" I wouldn't have remembered which side was which (though it didn't matter, because neither side worked) 3. All those pieces of blank paper between the product -- why couldn't the product directions be printed on THOSE so a person had a handy guide for use?Helpful directions like, "These will not work on plastic or curved bowls." Why oh why am I wasting my time writing this for a product that was meant to solve a simple kitchen problem EASILY but ended up wasting my time and costing a lot in return costs?? Answer: Because return costs are horrible and this is my revenge. No wonder these are on clearance!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extreme disappointment I hardly ever write reviews, but I felt compelled to weigh in with my disappointment on this item. I could not get ANY of the covers to stick to ANY kind of container I tried. Wish I had sent them back, but I kept thinking "This time it's going to work!" Will just have to stick with my Lock & Lock, which never fail me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really, really works! I finally got to unpack and use the storage covers from Food Essentials. Hmm, sheets of a bit sticky silicone. How can that work? Well, let me tell you. It works GREAT. I read the directions, washed one of the smaller covers and started with a bowl of leftover cherries. Stretch a little here, a little there and voila, the bowl was covered and the cover stayed put. Two hours later I peeled back a little corner, took out some cherries, stretched the cover back over. No problem with it. As weird as they might feel, these covers are awesome. Like plastic wrap but reusable over and over again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good Idea; Bad Experience They work great the first time you use them, if you cover glass. They really don't want to stick to plastic bowls, but neither does plastic wrap. But, as others have said, once they are refrigerated (like covering a bowl of strawberries), they get damp with moisture and fail. They keep sticking until you remove them, but when you take out some fruit and try to reapply the cover, they don't want to stick any longer. I tried to dry the cover off and reapply it, but I finally became so frustrated that I removed it and used something else. I really wish these worked, dang it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst purchase ever Complete failure. Will not adhere to bowls or pans for covering.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst product ever Really wanted to like these to avoid plastic wrap etc. Total fail! They do not adhere as shown. And forget if there is even a tiny bit of food or liquid on the dish. They are going in the trash. What a waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great concept..poor quality. I was really hoping this product would work. Environmentally speaking it is a good concept. I didn't have too much difficulty getting it to work and cover my dish. Once the dish had been in the refrigerator and the silicone had become cold and damp, reapplying it was impossible. The second time I used the large size it tore ...this is a very expensive product, as it was used one time before it fell apart. Back to the drawing board..Cook's Essentials.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from What am I doing wrong? I wanted so badly to like these because I hate fighting saran wrap. I stretch and grip like instructions say and sometimes I can get them to halfway work. If your dish has any moisture whatsoever around the lid forget about it. Don't want to mess with sending them back. I too have looked for a how to video and cannot find. Meredith made it look so easy. I'll keep trying!
